Lindsey was on her way to Barnes and Rogers Corp she had her red hair pulled back just a little with curls glasses on and her outfit that she had hoped was appropriate for the interview. She has her music playing and singing along. She just graduated college 4 months before she got this interview the college helped her get set up with interviews but it took her this long to finally found one she actually felt would be good for her and her husband Lucas they got married over the summer.
She pulled into the parking garage then went to the front desk and said "Hi I'm Lindsey Baxter I have a interview with a James Barnes."
"Okay just a moment let me see if he's out of his meeting." the receptionist said as she picked up the phone.
Bucky was signing a contract and he said "James Barnes." as he picked up the phone.
"Hi Mr Barnes this is Shari downstairs I have a Lindsey Baxter here. She said that she has a interview with you." Shari said
Bucky moved his papers out of the way and saw that he had written it down on his desk calendar and he said "right sorry I didn't put it on the electronic calendar for you Shari go ahead and send her up."
Shari hung up and said "Take the 2nd elevator it will take you directly to his floor Mrs Baxter." when she saw her rings.
Lindsey walked over to the 2nd elevator and pushed the closed doors then it took her upstairs. He heard the elevator ding and she stepped off the elevator then walked the long hallway to his office then she knocked on the door.
"Come in." he said
She opened the door then she said "Mr Barnes."
He looked up then did a double take and dropped his pen and whispered "Raelynn."
"Actually my name is Lindsey Baxter." she said as she shook his hand.
He couldn't figure out how this girl looked almost identical to a girl he dated in high school.
"Mr Barnes are you okay?" She said
"Yeah I'm sorry. Um James Barnes have a seat." he said
They both sat down then he conducted the interview then as he was walking her back to the elevator he said "Can I ask you a couple more questions I just I know these aren't suppose to be something I ask of my employees but um how old are you?'
"I'm 23 why?' she said confused
"You just you look so much like someone I went to high school with." he said
She smiled and said "Is that going to be a problem?'
"Oh no. She meant the world to me but anyways Mrs Baxter I'll see you tomorrow morning at 8 AM." he said as he shook her hand one more time and the elevator opened.
She got on the elevator then headed home after she got to her car. Bucky walked down the opposite way to Steve's office. He started to pace and Steve said "Buck what's wrong?'
"You were with me when I lost Raelynn we saw her at the funeral in her casket." Bucky said
"Yes I was the doctor's said she wouldn't have survived the car accident with her mom. Why what's wrong?' Steve said as he got up.
"Oh my god Steve. Um I just had an interview for my new assistant this girl her name is Lindsey Baxter and she looks exactly like her red hair and all I literally called her Raelynn when she walked in but she's not Rae cause she said that she's 23 years old." Bucky said
"Buck breathe it's fine. Did you hire her?" Steve said
"Yeah I did. She asked me why I wanted to know how old she was and then asked if it was a problem that she looked like her but it doesn't you know how much Rae meant to me Steve." Bucky said
"Well keep it professional Buck we don't need another sexual harassment mess." Steve said
Bucky rolled his eyes and said "Noelle is just a bitch all I said was she had a nice ass."
"Yeah and that's not something a boss says to an employee." Steve said
Bucky said "But I am the boss and I'm allowed to break the rules I allow you work with your wife."
"Yeah and we keep it professional when we are here." Steve said as they walk out to the break room.
