On Lindsey's 27th birthday in October Bucky planned out a big proposal surprise for her. He even asked Marcus for his permission. He rented out a ballroom at the Hilton and had it catered and decorated the ballroom as well.
All day she could tell he was acting weird and she couldn't figure out why. But he bought her a dozen red roses to be delivered to her at work and took her out for lunch. That night when she got home she saw a dress laying on the bed with a card.
"Get dressed baby I have a surprise for you."
She got dressed then put on her flats and curled her hair touched up her make up. She was coming down the stairs as he came in and he said "Wow baby that dress looks amazing."
"Thanks where are we going?' she said
"It's a surprise you ready." he said
"Yeah." she said

They got to the ballroom and he put his hands over her eyes. "James what are you doing?' she said
"You'll see baby." he said
They walked in and she saw everyone mingling and she said "You threw me a birthday party."
"Um yeah in away I did. I have another surprise for you baby in a little bit. But first I want you and I to share a dance." he said
He spun her then held her close to him as they danced to "Heaven" By Kane Brown. They had their foreheads together and eyes closed. Natasha looked at Steve and said "Bucky has been missing Raelynn Steve. That's why his marriages failed they weren't her the one girl he's always loved but Lindsey."
"Lindsey being her little sister and looking almost identical to her has made him feel whole again cause it's like he has her back. He told me that he felt like God was playing a joke on him that he kept waiting to wake up at anytime and LIndsey not look like her." Steve said
Sam said "Bucky is finally Bucky again because of her."
Marcus came over and hugged them and said 'It's good to see you all."
Natasha said "It's so good to see you Marcus."
Wanda said "It really is. It's like she's here."
"She is and she smiling to know that James is happy even if it's with her little sister." he said as he wiped tears.
Bucky said "Okay the real reason why everybody is here."
"Not for me." she said
"No it's for you baby. But um I have a surprise." he said
"I love you Lindsey Sloane Jones from the day we met you have kept my mind from spinning out of control you give me peace of mind. I want to spend the rest of my life with you waking up to you falling asleep next to you raising our daughter together and having more babies with you. I want to grow old with you and love you forever. So Lindsey Sloane I ask you this will you please marry me?' he said as he dropped to one knee.

Her mouth dropped open and wiped tears then with a shaky voice said "Yes."
He slid the ring on her finger and kissed her when he stood up as tears fell down his cheeks.
That night while he was sleeping he started to dream.
"James" Raelynn whispered
"Rae darlin" he said
"i'm so happy for you my sweet James I sent her to you. I knew you needed my little sister you be good to her don't fall back into your old ways baby. I'm always watching over you sweetheart that's how I knew that you needed someone like me. Natalie and Rachel weren't me they couldn't see that you were unhappy but she could. You take care of her and let me go baby yes she looks like me and acts like me but she is her own person baby I will always be here for you baby take care of her and that beautiful baby girl she's carrying. Now let me go darlin let the pain go and you will be happy with her." Raelynn said to him
"I love you Raelynn Elizabeth and I always will . " he said then she slowly disappeared from his mind.
Next to him was Lindsey sleeping then she started to dream
"Hey little sis" Raelynn said
"Raelynn.." she whispered
"Yeah it's me listen to me that man besides you love you baby sis just be patient with him and love him he's stubborn and hard headed sometimes but he loves you. you are changing him back to the James he was for me take care of him be good to him and keep the sass and spice he loves that I love you I wish we could of met but I'm always here for you baby sis I love you."
"I love you Raelynn" she said as Raelynn left her dream.
She woke up the next morning and said "Braelynn Elizabeth."
"What baby?' Bucky said
"Her name will be Braelynn Elizabeth." she said
He smiled and said "I love it baby it's perfect." as he kissed her.
