The Right Kind Of Wrong

(5) Paris

It was 3 AM when she heard a knock on the door instead of Paul this time it was Bucky. 

"James?'" she said confused.

"I figured it would ease your mind if it was me." he said as he took her suitcase and carry on. 

"Oh..okay." she said 

She closed her door and locked it. Then followed him to the elevator then they met Paul outside at the limo she climbed in and then she saw coffee and Mcdonalds. 

She smiled then he said "I did better this time." 

"Thanks." she said as she took a sip of her coffee. 

The ride to the airport was a lot more quiet than when they left for Madrid. They got on the plane once they got to the airport and got checked in at the gate. 

She put her ear buds in once she was allowed to and then she went to asleep. He looked over at her then he looked down as he felt tears welling in his eyes. He looked up to blink them away as he thought about Raelynn. He started to work on the contracts while she slept on the plane he heard her phone ping and it woke her up. 

She opened up her email to see an email from her lawyer 

"Dear Lindsey S. Hamilton 

I wanted to inform you that because you two agreed on the divorce and both signed the papers and already divided assets the judge has gone ahead and finalized your divorce. You will be receiving your papers in the mail in the next several weeks. If you have any questions please contact me at any time.

She looked down then blinked away tears. "Lindsey what is it?' he whispered

"I just got an email from my lawyer that said that the divorce is finalized since we were very civil about the whole thing so it's done. I'm officially Lindsey Sloane Hamilton again." she said 

He wiped the tiny tear that fell from her green eye "Shh darlin it's alright. " he whispered 

"I'm sure who ever she is can give him babies where he doesn't have jizz in a cup or have someone else carry the fucking baby." she said as another tear fell.

"Lindsey you don't know if that's the reason." he said 

"I know it is. I'm not stupid James I couldn't get him to help me choose he wouldn't help me. I've been trying for a year to find a surrogate and he never not once helped me" she said 

"Shh just go back to sleep don't think about it okay. He's an asshole for leaving you for that reason if that's why he left. " he said 

She got comfortable then turned her music back on and fell back asleep. He put his stuff back in his briefcase and put his tray up then went to the bathroom. He leaned against the door and whispered "God please stop doing this to me if this is your way of telling me that I'm being a dick to my wife it isn't a funny joke God and Raelynn." He splashed cold water on his face and neck then went back to his seat. 

Once they landed Paul got their car and drove them to the hotel. They got checked in then went up to their suite she went into her room and shut the door. She laid down on her bed and saw the tower from her window. 

She walked out and poured herself a glass of wine and walked out on the balcony as it started to get dark. She sighed then wiped tears as she saw all the couples and proposals that were happening. Bucky walked out of his room with his suit on and he looked down then he walked out and he said "You okay?'
