I was too harsh

I don't see any signs of Elina around anywhere. I call her parents but they always say "Didn't we ask you to look after her?" She only is 19 after all, i'm only 23 and i don't have much experience with dating so i don't know how to treat a girl properly. I only know that she is my first crush and i wanted to marry her but i'm such a wimp when i need to tell her how i feel. She probably hates me now. It is all my fault, i should have had not been so hard on her. But i don't like admitting my true feelings to anyone especially when they don't like me back. A week has went by and i receive a phone call from Elina. She says "I'm ready to come back now Darren" I was too excited that she was coming back so i decided to throw a party for her. I tell everyone to go get me balloons and banners and help me decorate the house. 5 hours have gone by and Elina textes me she'll be arriving in 7 minutes. Those 7 minutes went by and she opened the door quietly to see a dark empty mansion. The lights turn on and confetti fills the room. Elina was shocked. "You did this for me?" she said
"Yes" i replied
Elina comes running into my arms. I feel her warm scarf on my neck and can't help but hug her back. Elina focused again. She slowly let's go of me and goes to her room without talking to me. I felt upset she would do something like that but i should have understood how she felt when i told her that I'm in charge of this marriage.
SLAM.
I hear Elina slam her door from upstairs and everyone was scared from it. I told her personal maid to go check on her. She goes to Elina's room but can't open the door knob. She comes back downstairs to tell me that the door is locked. So i decided to go upstairs and unlock it with the key. I go into the room gently and check if she's ok or not. I see Elina crying hysterically, i had never seen her cry like it before. She goes to hide in her bed and avoids me. I told myself i would be here until she feels better, i can't believe i hurt the one i love the most and almost broke her to pieces. After 2 hours she stopped crying. It is now 10pm so i thought she might be asleep. I leave the room and go to my room to clear my mind but before i closed the door i saw Elina come out of her room and towards mine. She says "I'm sorry for overreacting" I obviously was the one who had to take the blame
"I was too harsh on you" i replied. She smiled at me, i had never seen her smile like that at me before. My heart felt warm and i couldn't stop smiling back at her.
