RP I did with a friend for the prompt: "Fuck you!" "I wish you would."

"You just gotta fucking walk for barely ten seconds, to the beat, come on!" Brian rubbed his forehead, teaching Joe this dance was not hard, but it definitely wasn't easy.

"I'm sorry man, I'm really trying, just tell me which foot to start on and I'll get it, I promise." Joe clenched his jaw, getting annoyed at himself.

Brian sighed, knowing that him getting annoyed wasn't going to help Joe get it right. More importantly, it was going to help his chances with Joe, whom he'd sorta kinda had a crush on for nearly a year, which was 90% why he hadn't argued when Nick had asked him to hang back after a 16 hour rehearsal day and coach Joe on his dance for Getting Along. "No I'm sorry, me yelling isn't helping. Let's go through it again, we can just slow down the tempo a little." Brian said, offering him a smile.

Joe breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you, um-" He looked around himself at the empty stage. "Do you want to start from center stage or just from here?"

"Let's do center stage, the lighting is better." 'And you look hotter.' Brian shook his head once him and Joe were in place. "Ok ready? Don't worry about vocals, let's just focus on the dance. 5,6,7,8..."

Joe started to talk the lines. "'I bet, your the one who gets all of the boy's to buy you things." And he puts arm out. Joe watched as Brian presented his right arm, a smile on his face.

"And then, 'I'm sure, you've got all the girls begging for their wedding rings,' and I take it." He took Brian's arm with both hands. "And then walk forward for seven beats?" Joe bit down on his bottom lip and furrowed his eyebrow; this dance shouldn't be as hard as it was, but he kept getting distracted. And he was starting to realize why.

Brian bit his lip, hoping his flush wasn't too obvious under the stage lights as him and Joe grabbed hands. He continued to count through 8 counts as him and Joe side stepped, Brian trying to focus on how sloppy Joe's grapevine was once he'd realized that he was staring at his ass. He grabbed Joe's hand and wrapped himself around Joe, resting his face on Joe's buff arm.

"You side step now." Brian said with a smile when Joe froze, simply staring at him.

"I-uh- yeah, yeah, sorry." He did as he was instructed, side stepping, then remembering the spin they both did, and putting his left arm up first instead of his right like he was supposed to. "Ah, fuck." He corrected himself, then going back and forth. "Before we're getting, and not regretting and setting on getting along!" Joe sang, stepping forward, hands extended so they could spin.

Brian laughed as he took Joe's hands and they spun, until Joe accidentally stepped on his toes and tripped over Brian's feet, pulling the two of them down. Joe hit the stage floor with a thump. Luckily for Brian, he had Joe's body to cushion his fall. Joe flushed bright red, even the bright stage lights couldn't hide it. "S-sorry..."

Brian laughed. "It's ok. Not everyone can sing and walk at the same time. Not like you're a threatre major or anything."

Joe laughed with full force, his tongue sticking to the side of his teeth and lips. "Well fuck you! I'll have you know I'm usually a great dancer!" Joe smirked, his competitive side shining through.

"I wish you would. And I didn't say you were a bad dancer, I said you couldn't do both at the same ti-" Brian's voiced caught in his throat as he realized what he'd said. "I-" Brian's voice caught in his throat a second time, Joe's face getting redder than it already was. The theatre was silent, compared to how it had been this entire week of all day rehearsals.

Joe looked away and coughed, both of them standing up, Brian a bit more shaky, neither of them meeting each other's eyes. "It's fine." Joe punctuated it with a nervous laugh. "D-do you w-want to continue?" Joe stuttered, trying not to let the awkward silence get to him.
