Jonah's pov
I quickly ordered something for me and something for her I walked over to ask her to come to sit down when I heard her say
" jack I don't have any family there and I know you don't know how that feels ... then why are you trying to find me jack it's been 2 days 2 days that's it ... No no buts for once in my miserable life I'm happy like 100 percent happy no ghost stains streets just let me have some space and like I've said I'll tell you where I am when I'm ready"
She looked back and saw me
" it's ok to look I gada go but I'll talk to you soon k "
She hung up and whipped the tear off her cheek
" how much if that did you hear "
" not much just that you'll tell whoever where you are when you're ready "
She looked at me froze
" come on I ordered us food "
" oh no you didn't have to spend anything on me "
" I'm not going to let you starve "
She smiled and it made me happy
As pov
We were eating and we were messing around and Sean said
" So are you guys coming to the party tonight "
I looked over at Jonah then said
" sure "
" cool I gada go do some stuff see you guys later "
He and a couple of the others left
" So what's this party for "
" it's Sean's annual begin of the summer party it's fun I guess "
He looked at me for a second
" let's go downtown and get you some clothes I mean I don't think you can fit much in a suitcase and a duffle bag "
" you'd be surprised "
" come on, please "

I went and put my shorts and tank top back on they were dry now and we got in the car.
When we were shopping they clearly wanted me to wear a dress because that's all they picked out. I went into the dressing room and would put on a dress and come back out just like in the movies and I didn't find anything
" guys dresses clearly don't look good on me so can we please look at something else "
" fine "
Luke wined they both walked away to find things we ended up liking black shorts and a black off the shoulder bell-sleeved shirt. We went back to his house and I got ready I put my hair in a messy bun and put on a little mascara. I went to my bag and found jacks necklace thank god he never really liked thick chains it was a small gold lock on a god chain. I looked in the mirror and a couple of tears ran down my cheek. Someone knocked on the door and I jumped
" yeah"
" Hey ... you almost ready "
I turned and it was Luke
" yeah Ummm just had a something in my eye "
" ok ... hey I like the necklace "
" thanks "
He went out the door and I walked out and Jonah said
" Can you come to help me A "
I pushed open his door and he was trying to decide what to wear. After 20 minutes he gave up and went with a black tank top and black shorts. He had a private bathroom off his room so when he went in there I looked around his room a bit
" you ready"
" yeah "
We got in the car and it was about 7 and the party was almost an hour away.
