"So today we are gonna be brewing Veritaserum, it you turn to page 237 in your books we can read about what are the effects and how to make it. As you see this is a truth potion and makes the drinker tell the honest truth if you ask them any question. Made from Jobberknoll Feathers, it takes a month to brew them so I need you to pair with a partner and start the potion" Slughorn explained.
James went with Sirius, Lily went with Remus, Peter went with Marlene, Alice went with Mary. Lily and Remus were actually doing the work while James and Sirius were just goofing off but still somehow made the potion right.
"Okay class so while we wait for the potions to finish we'll be learning about other potions aswell. Class dismissed!" Slughorn said. The marauders and Lily went back to the Gryffindor common rooms.
"Hey Moony you okay, you look tired" Sirius asked the werewolf.
"Yea I just need to rest" Remus reassured the man, Remus then went to leaving for the dorm rooms.
"Poor thing the full moon is only two days away" Lily said with a 'one of those sad faces'. Sirius went after Remus to go ask him what was wrong with chocolate in his hand. Remus was laying down making shapes in the air falling asleep slowly, he was awoken even more when his best friend came in the room with a hand full of chocolate.
"Chocolate?" Sirius said with a smile sitting down by Remus.
"Please" Remus grabbed a chocolate bar unwrapping it, the smell of chocolate filling the room. The smell of chocolate always made Remus happy.
"What wrong?"
"Sirius, I told you I'm tired I need sleep I'll be tiring into a monster in two days" Remus said with a serious tone in his voice.
"Yes I know but there's something else please tell me Rem. You can tell me anything" Sirius said switching his sitting position to crosses legged, taking some fudge from the pile of chocolate.
"Well let's say. Person A likes Person B but Person A knows Person B doesn't like them and Person C is begging Person A to tell Person B but Person A refuses to. Person C tells Person A dating advice because Person C is dating a jerk, Person D. Person B doesn't like Person A the way Person A likes Person B. Remus explained the best he could without say any names.
"Ok two questions can you tell me who Person A is and how do you know Person B doesn't like Person A in that way?" Sirius asked taking another piece of fudge.
"I'm Person A and I know because they don't show it" Remus said unwrapping the candy wrapper more revealing more of the chocolate bar.
"Oh, Well have a good rest with your chocolate sleep well" Sirius said walking out the door with his beautiful smile Remus loved. Remark waved goodbye and fell asleep afterwards.
Sirius walked back to the common room curiosity roaming his mind with questions about Remus' a guys you could say story. Sirius said the password to the singing lady, walking into the common room.

The next day rolled in and they were in transfiguration Sirius sat in front of James behind Remus, and did Sirius loved sitting behind Remus it meant he could stare at him James of course noticed this. James leaned forward and poked his friend.
"What?" Sirius turned around.
"You need to do it"
"Do what?"
"Ask him out! Sirius, I see the way you guys stare at each other. I know you like him" James explained.
"Your funny, I can't just ask him out plus he's not even gay" Sirius laughed.
"Oh trust me he's gay and that thing Remus told you yesterday about Person A and Person B, he was telling you he liked you" James said before shaking his head. Sirius froze did Remus really like him?
"Black!" The teacher yelled, Sirius turned back around in his seat rolling his eyes.

"Welcome back class!" Slughorn greeted the group of kids. "When the potion is ready we will be asking questions in front of the class. I will know if you didn't take the potion if you answer wrong because as you know this a very powerful truth potion" He explained.
Now Sirius wanted to see if James was correct so he took some of the potion after it was done and he had the perfect plan.
After class Sirius asked Remus if he could go to the Gryffindor tower with him. Remus kept asking why but Sirius wouldn't tell him that he was gonna give him veritaserum and ask him questions regarding his liking for Sirius and if he would date him and that such.
"Sirius why are we going up here?" Remus asked.
"You'll see" Sirius smirked. "Now drink this" Sirius thought it would be the easy.
"What is it?" Remus shook the glass in his hand, look up at Sirius with a confused look.
"Cmon just drink it you won't die" Sirius was getting impatient, so he forced the werewolf to drink it by pushing the cup into his mouth.
"Remus?" Sirius asked he felt bad for what he just did but hopefully in the end it will all work out.
"Yes?"
"Do you like someone?" Sirius wanted to take this slow but not to slow.
"Yea" Remus eyes widened. He would never say that to him.
"Do you like Sirius Black?"
"Yea, ever since 1st year" Remus knew by now what Sirius have given him.
"Good to know" Sirius walked up to him and kissed his lips the other boy kissing back quickly after processing what just happened. The potion had wore off by now.
"Guys?!" It was James looking for them he didn't know where they had gone and the last place was the tower.
"Thank merl-" James lifted his head up. Both boys were to in the moment to realize their friend. "Ok I'll leave you to it" and with that he left.
