Remus loved to bake. Cookies, Pumpkin pie, and sometimes he would make dog cakes for Sirius, for a good laugh. But no one knew he baked they just assumed he got them from a really good bakery.
Remus decided he would make brownies for Harry's birthday. Normally he would make a cake but he wanted to switch it up. Remus got out the ingredients and rolled up the selves of his jumper. Sirius was sleeping so he wouldn't have to worry. It's not like Remus didn't like people knowing he baked, it that he would be,, I guess you could say embarrassed.
All the bowls, measuring cups, and ingredients were all in order of use. Remus started making the dough and put it in the biggest bowl and put in the eggs, water, oil, and the other ingredients he needed.
In that time Sirius had woken up. Sirius rubbed his eyes, grabbed a blanket to throw over his bare shoulders.
"Remus?" Sirius called out softly. Sirius stumbled down the stairs, Sirius looked over in the kitchen to see his boyfriend baking? Sirius walked over to him and set his head on his shoulder.
Remus jumped at the sudden touch, his face going bright pink.
"What ya doing?" Sirius asked looking at mess that was made.
"...baking" Remus said getting a bit of flour on his finger.
"Why?"
"Harry's birthday is coming up that's why" Remus chuckled.
"Don't you normally-" Sirius stopped finally getting why the cakes were so good. "You bake them yourself don't you!" Sirius said. Remus nodded. Sirius asked a bunch of questions why and Remus answered them. The bit of flour still on his finger.
"Can I help you?"
"Sure.. just don't mess it up" Remus said in a stern voice, bopping Sirius' nose leaving the bit of flour.
"Ok we're playing that game" Sirius slapped flour on Remus' face, leaving half his face with flour on it.
"How dare you!" Remus said acting like his dramatic boyfriend.
"That's my line!" Sirius crossed his arms and pouted.
"Your so fucking dramatic" Remus rolled his eyes and continued making the cake. Now with flour on half his face.
"You don't look right"
"Huh?" Remus turned around to a another slap of flour on the other side of his face. "Oh you are so gonna pay for that" Remus took two handfuls of flour and put it in Sirius' curly hair.
"You didn't just do that"
"Oh yes I did"
They continue throwing ingredients at each other until they realized the mess they had made. They then spent the whole night cleaning the whole kitchen until it was spotless.
Sirius Hughes his boyfriend from the back, put his head in the crook of his neck.
"I love you Rem" Sirius kissed his neck.
"I love you too" Remus turned around and kissed Sirius' lips.
