Modern day AU

"Hey Siri" Remus bounced his leg up and down as he read his book.
"Yes, Love?" Sirius called from the kitchen.
"Mmm" Remus closed his eyes and hummed at the pet name his husband had given him. "Come here"
Sirius threw the towel he had been using to wash the dishes over his shoulder and walked to Remus. "Whatcha need." Sirius smiled.
Remus smiled back, closed his book and laid his head on the blacknette's shoulder. Sirius was took by surprise, Remus usually wasn't the one to cuddle. But Sirius didn't think about it to much and just took in the moment.
Remus snuggled closer to his chest, so he could hear his heartbeat. It was his music, his rhythm, his safety. Sirius then positioned the two where they both were laying down but Remus was laid on-top of the dog-lover. His head still on his chest.
This was heaven for the couple.
"I love you" Remus muttered into his husband's chest.
"Love you too"
