Chapter 21: Journey’s POV

Danny and I were walking around the snowy streets. I never get to see Danny and I always asked my dad if I could see him again. But when he does come I am always clueless on what we should do together. “How are you liking your new school Journey?” Danny asked. I blew my fringe out of my face. “Taking that you don’t like it.” Danny chuckled, flicking his cigarette into the snow.

“It’s a change in things but ever sense I have shown up, bad things just keep erupting and its getting aggravating almost. I have been kidnapped, I have gone into coma. Can I just have a normal life once in a while?” I asked.

“There are some fucked up people in this world Journey and we can’t always have a life in a perfect line. Sometimes we have to redraw that line to make it perfect. Grab your ruler.” He said and I nodded.

“Do you ever wish that life wasn’t such a rush?” I asked.

“Yes, sometimes. It can be a bit hard to just always be on the go. Do this in a matter of time, party till I am babbling and drooling on the ground from hardcore drinking.” He ranted, soon trailing off. I sighed as I light closed my eyes in my life’s frustration. “Take a break once in a while.” His British accent echoed my head.

“I wish it was all that simple.” I sighed, shoving my hands in my pockets.

*************************** Next Day ****************************

Danny dropped us all off in front of the school and we immediately went to class. I rode on Parker’s back as we walked in first period. We both frowned when we saw a tall boy, blonde hair and blue eyes stand nearby the desk. New kid. “Sit down.” The teacher ordered. We nodded obediently and we sat in our seats in the back of the room.

“New kid.” Collin whispered. I nodded soon giving my full attention to the teacher.

“Alright class- before we get started for the day I would like to introduce a new student!” The teacher said happily, clasping her hands together. The boy sighed.

“My name is Luke.” My head shot up. “Luke Thomson.” I frowned at the last name. “That’s all you really need to know.” He shrugged, rolling his eyes. His voice was so deep though. He sat down in the seat next to me, Parker on my other side.

“Hi.” I smiled. I saw Parker, Hazel, and Collin frowning at the boy’s facial features.

“Um hi?” He frowned. “Is there a reason you’re staring at me?” He eyed my 3 friends.

“You just remind us of someone.” Hazel shrugged, turning away.

“Anyways Luke, what music do you listen to?” I asked.

“I like pop.” He shrugged. Well this is just great.

“Oh.” I said and turned away. I saw him frown.

“Oh yeah? What do YOU listen to?” He asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Black Veil Brides.” The four of us said. He laughed.

“Guys really? There awful.” He chuckled, taking out a pencil. We all looked at him.

“My dad is the lead singer.” I growled.

“My dad is the lead guitarist.” Hazel snapped.

“My dad is the drummer.” Collin crossed his arms.

“And MY dad is the rhythm guitarist.” Parker pointed out. Luke’s eyes widened. “Don’t insult our family. Or I’ll insult your pop music.” Parker snapped at him. Well this is great. I may have just turned away my little brother. The 12 year old sighed and continued to do his work.

Luke’s POV:

I was back at my dorm and I saw my parents standing there. I frowned walking over. “Hey what are you guys doing here I thought you guys left HOURS ago.” I crossed my arms. My mom sighed and knelt down to the ground.

“We had to tell you something. It’s been eating at us for YEARS.” My mom said sadly. “Honey, you are adopted. Your real parents are Andy Biersack and Amber Coma. Honey I am so, so sorry. If you want to see them you can.” She offered, trying to pull me in for a hug but I pulled away.

“No! Go away I don’t EVER want to see you again.” I hissed, opening my dorm and slamming it shut behind me, locking it and setting the key down. I’m adopted. I’m really adopted.

I went on my laptop and I searched up ‘Andy Biersack’. That name sounded familiar. I clicked search and it popped up saying: ‘Lead Founder of the Rock Band: Black Veil Brides. Air was caught in my throat.

Am I related to those assholes kids in my class?

Journey’s POV:

“DIE YOU SON OF AN ARSE!” I heard Caleb scream at the TV screen as they played ‘Wheel of Fortune’ for the WII. I frowned as I started at Caleb press different letters to call out.

“This is Wheel of Fortune, Caleb.” Layla sighed, I laughed as I sat down next to her.

“I’m using my imagination.” Caleb shushed me.

“Yeah you use that too much you might want to calm it down.” I smile.

“I don’t think he can do that.” Melody said. “It seems like an almost impossible task.” She laughed. I heard a knock on the dorm door. I stood up with a frown as I saw all 8 of us in the room. Who could that be? I walked over and I looked at the peep hole. My eyes widened.

                Luke?

I open the door and I saw Luke standing there with a stern look. I shut the door behind me. “What do you want?” I sneered. I sighed, running a hand through his hair. I frown.

                “We need to talk.”

“About?” I cross my arms, leaning against the door.

“Look I don’t know how to say this but I think were siblings.” Knew it.

“I already suspected you were.” I shrugged. He frowned.

“How did YOU know?” He asked.

“My dad said he lost his son Luke by a doctor who gave him away for money.” I explained. “He had blue eyes.” I cocked my head at his eyes. “And dirty blonde hair.” I cocked my head at his hair. “He would be around your age right now too.” I shrugged. “I already was 80% sure. Oh and you look like my mom.” I smile.

                “Our mom?” He asked.

“We need to do some tests.” I looked at the nearest clock. “Let’s go.” His eyes widened.

                “Right now?” He asked.

“Yes right now move it let’s go!” I smiled brightly.
