Chapter 5: Journey’s POV

Today was Saturday, no class today. We were outside for once- I know surprising! Anyways we all decided to go outside and play a game of soccer. Well it WAS soccer but then it ended up being dodge ball.

Not even dodge ball just hitting Caleb with the soccer balls till he fell to the ground in pain.

                Were such good friends.

I was in the middle of throwing a soccer ball at his nuts till my cell phone rang. I saw it was dad and I rolled my eyes with a smile before answering. I pressed the phone to my ear. “Hey Dad.” I said. Then in the background Caleb screamed.

                “PARKER YOU GOT MY BALLS!”

“What the hell?” My dad said, confused.

“Nothing!” I aid quickly, I could sense you frowning.

“Hey I want you to go near the boarding school gates for a sec.” He said and I frowned.

                “Okay?”

“Bring the other 7.” He told me.

“Hey guys follow me!” I yelled. Soon all 8 of us were walking towards the gate and we were all shocked out of our minds. Dad was standing there, smiling and waving shyly. I dropped my phone which Parker picked up and I ran into his arms.

“I wanted to see you for the day.” He whispered into my ear. He looked up to see Caleb, still in pain and Parker laughing like a jackass about it. “Parker did you seriously his Caleb in the balls?”

“Yeah sorry Uncle Andy.” He looked down.

“You should be- Uncle Ashley would be very upset you didn’t film his son’s embarrassment.” Dad said, trying to sound serious about it.

“We’ll make sure to do that next time.” Collin grinned.

“You seem very happy about that.” One of the twins chuckled.

                “Shut up Layla!” Collin groaned.

                “IT’S HAZEL!”

“Anyways I am going to steal Journey for the day.” My dad grinned. We all said goodbye and we exited the school, now on the streets. “What shall we do today?” He asked me.

“I don’t know.” I shrugged smiling, I was just happy my dad was here.

“How about we go to Build-A-Bear Workshop?” He suggested. My eyes widened.

That Place is Heaven. It’s just an amazing place.

“Let’s go.” I said wide eyed. We soon walked into the store and thankfully, it was a bit empty so we could have fun together without the little children. I walked over and I found an owl and I held it up in amazement. My dad found a koala. I think I kind of already guessed he was getting a koala.

When I was dressing him up my dad walked over and his looked like it just got off a Harley Davison Motorcycle. “Dad your stuffed animal looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Terminator.” I grinned.
