Chapter 24

Chapter 24: Journey’s POV

                Holy Crap.

                I can’t even describe how embarrassed I am. And it technically was my fault. If I just heard my god damn phone vibrate but of course we were moaning too loud! I grabbed my robe while Parker shoved on his boxers and we walked outside where we met face to face with my dad who had a raised eyebrow.

                “I’m not mad.” Was all he said. We both frowned.

                “You’re not?” Parker and I said together and my dad laughed.

                “Journey, I lost my virginity a year younger than you. If I was made I would soon like a god damn hypocrite.” He chuckled. My eyes widened.

                “I’m surprised.” I said.

                “Why?” He asked.

                “I thought you were going to bust Parkers chops.” I laughed.

                “No, I think Jinxx will do that.” Andy grinned and Parkers eyes went wide.

                “Oh great!” He sighed.

                “I’m just kidding.” He chuckled. “Anyways I am going to go and try to get that image out of my head.” My dad said, chuckling uneasily. “Night guys!” And he was out the door.

                “Now that wasn’t stressful.” Parker muttered.

                “I know right!” I laughed.

                The next morning we were still kind of on edge for most of the day. Our 6 friends could tell something was up and at lunch they of course, had to interrogate us on what happened last night. We were sitting at the lunch table and Hazel was the first one to ask us a question.

                “So what happened last night?” One of the twins asked.

                “Nothing.” I shrugged.

                “LIES.” Caleb hissed.

                “Which twin are you again?”

                “HAZEL!” She shouted.

                “So,” Collin cleared his throat. “Was there any sexual activity involved?” Collin asked. We both were silent. “I knew I heard an orgasm the past few nights.” He said casually.            

                “Ewe.” Melody frowned.

                “Don’t worry, soon you will be screaming someone’s name.” Her brother grinned.

                “Look I don’t think Melody should think about sex yet.” Layla frowned.

                “I don’t think I’m getting laid any time soon.” Melody said.

                “I wouldn’t think so.” Parker chuckled.

                “Something HAD to have happened during that time frame.” Lyric frowned. “But what?”

                “I know what it is.” Caleb grinned.

                “What?” Parker challenged him.

                “Your dad walked in on you, didn’t he?” Caleb laughed. My eyes widened.

                “HOW THE HELL DID YOU FIGURE THAT OUT?!” I gasped.

                “Wait I was right?” Caleb said which made a few people laugh.

                “Yes you were right! We were at the freaking climax and he WALKED IN.” Parker said.

                “He wasn’t pissed though.” I shrugged.

                “Yeah I am surprised at that.” He grinned. “We got off lucky.” He said.

                “If Layla and I had sex and my dad found out he would kick my ass.” Collin said.

                “He hasn’t found out.” Layla shrugged.

                “When did you guys have sex?” Melody frowned. There was dead silence for a minute till the bell rang.

                “Well good chat I’ll see you guys later!” Collin said quickly, grabbing his girlfriend by the risk and running out of the cafeteria. I laughed as I joined Parker next to me as we walked to 5th period. 5th period was smooth but boring.

                I ran into Luke a few times but it was really awkward to talk to him. I don’t think I even really want another sibling to be completely honest. I liked being an only child and Ivory was enough for me. I don’t want freakin 2 siblings! This is WAY too much.

                But my dad texted me saying the doctor has the results. Hopefully he isn’t my brother. I don’t really want a brother. I think I would be much happier if he wasn’t. I know, I know, it sounds selfish but honestly I don’t want to be the oldest who has to watch everyone at all times. That’s annoying and I am NOT playing babysitter in this show down.

                My dad texted me.

Dad: It’s not him but that doesn’t mean there’s something weird about this kids’ parents.

Me: What do you mean?

Dad: His parents died of unknown causes.

Me: That’s weird…

Dad: Wouldn’t you think his adoptive parents would have known that?

Me: Yeah but are you sure it’s correct? I mean this kid looks a lot like you!

Dad: I know, something’s fishy...

                I was relieved but curious. What happened to Luke’s biological parents? Why didn’t he go to his god parents? Did he HAVE god parents? So many unanswered questions that were really stressing me out. I sighed, rubbing my temples as I went back to my dorm to cool down.

                I made myself a cup of tea and I got in my pajamas. I curled up in a blanket as I flipped on an episode of Family Guy and just enjoyed myself, trying to calm down from all the weirdness.

                Parker and Collin walked in and immediately joined my on the couch. Parker stole my tea. I pouted. “Hey…” I said, snatching the tea cup back. “This is mine bitch.” I joked.

                “No fair.” He whined.

                “Go pour some from the pot.” I said.

                “Fine….” He groaned with a hint of a smile. I kissed him softly as he got up. I soon set down my cup and I closed my eyes, letting the warmth of the tea bring in the lovely wonders of sleep.
