After I put on a pair of combat boots, I open my window and jump lightly onto the humongous tree right in front of my window and start to climb down quietly. When I reach my feet come into contact with the grass, I automatically start to run down the street and to my school.

Running, it takes me about 10 minutes to arrive in front of the main doors.

I notice Zeke's Range Rover driving up beside me and I hop in. When I close the door, I see Zeke driving, Christina and Will are on the front seat, Uriah is in the middle seat beside me, and that guy from the park on the other side of Uriah.

What was his name... Five?..no... Three?..Of course not.

"Four, do you have my phone?" Zeke coldly asks.

"No brother, I have it." Uriah tries to calm Zeke down.

Ahh Four is his name!! I smile at Christina as she looks back at me.

"How'd you get out of that prison?" Will asks with a chuckle.

"I sneaked out of the window, duh." I answer and Zeke continues to drive. "Where are we going again?"

"The pier." Uriah answers.

It takes us about 20 minutes to get from the school, to the pier. I pull my phone from my back pocket and unlock it. I have a text from Caleb.

I knew you were going to sneak out.The text reads.

Yeah, don't act like you don't do it. I reply.

Better hope mom and dad don't find out.

How would they find out?I quickly reply.

Someone might have seen you and that someone might need a new car. I know he is talking about himself.

Don't forget our deal, Caleb. I simply reply and lock my phone as we pull up next to the pier.

"Come one, you guys." Christina says with a wide smile.

"So your parents are pretty strict, huh?" Four asks as we all walk through the pier.

"Yeah, well my mom is. But my dad isn't as bad as her but still bad." I ramble.

Why am I acting like this? I never act like this? Is there something wrong with me?

"How about you? Any parent strict on you?"

"Erm..no. My mom passed away years ago and I moved out of my dad's house." He answers as he puts hands in his pockets of his varsity Letterman jacket.

"You go to Hillside?" I mention my school name.

"Yeah, this is my junior year. I started school late." Four answers. "You wanna ditch them?"

"Who?" I quickly answer without thinking, "Oh. Uhm, I don't really care. Do you?"

"I don't wanna be a buzz kill to the happy couple and Zeke and I aren't really on speaking terms right now." He answers.

"Yeah, okay." I answer and we take a left turn to the rides. "So.."

"What?" He asks.

This is so awkward...

"So, whats your real name?" I ask. "Like I doubt your mom and dad would name you Four."

"Why does it matter?" He asks as we approach the Ferris wheel.

"It doesn't really. I just was wondering." I walk closer to him. I can feel his warmth even when his arms aren't around me. I can feel his warmth just by standing next to him.
