"Our...our new home?" I asked, still looking around.
"It used to be my family home down here in Georgia." Alastor explained, watching me look around. I spun to face him.
"Georgia?" I sputtered, "But we..."
"Were just in Pennsylvania? Yes. Teleportation is a rather useful little trick, isn't it?" Alastor chuckled nonchalantly, then motioned for me to follow him. My new husband led me down out to a grand entrance hall with a huge ornate staircase. It looked like something from Gone With the Wind. We went up the staircase to a long hallway with several shut doors. Alastor opened one at the end, reviling a open and airy room free of dust.
"For you, my dear." He said, leading me in. The walls were white, with small pictures of farm scenes hanging on them. It was a quiet, calm, clean room. And it was mine.
"Get some rest, my dear." Alastor said, gently, "Tomorrow will be a very busy day." When I turned to face him and say thank you, he had vanished into thin air.
I closed the door and carefully took off my wedding dress. Then slipping under the covers, I closed my eyes and drifted off in a deep sleep.
