"I will not pray for you to come back but I'll pray for your happiness." - Unknown
(Author's POV)
As the day goes by, Luna's memories were coming back little by little.
"How are you feeling?" A man who was wearing a white turtle neck and white coat asked sincerely. He was seated behind a desk across a lady. "I'm doing fine. How are you Namjoon?" The lady in the pink dress answered cheerfully. "I'm doing good. Let's start the session, Luna." With that, the psychotherapy began.
(Jin's POV)
I just finished assisting one patient in the radiation lab. "Would that be all?" I inquired with the head nurse who was with me in the procedure. "Yes, doctor." She informed me as she flutters her eyelashes.
"Okay, I'll go ahead then." However, she blocked my way as I approached the door. "Jin." She called out. "What did you call me?" Shocked as to her sudden actions. "Jin please go without me instead." She continued. "She doesn't even love you. Why are you staying and loving that woman when she doesn't want you?" It 's true and it hurts.
"It's none of your business." I left as she was on the verge of crying. It was my choice to love her without asking for anything in return. I was on my way to my clinic when I accidentally bumped into someone.
"I'm sorry." I bowed and continued walking until...
(Luna's POV)
I bumped into a guy and when I lifted my head I saw him. The man I learned to love.
"I'm sorry." That was all that he said and walked toward the elevator. I hurriedly grabbed his arm. "Jin." I called out softly.
He abruptly looked back. "Hey, sorry I didn't notice you." His eyes were lonely. Something happened.
"Are you okay? Is something wrong?" I reached out to touch his face however he averted his gaze and I stopped in mid-air. "Why are you avoiding me these past few weeks?" I couldn't help but feel
"I'm just busy." He couldn't look straight into my eyes. "Stop lying."
"I have to go." He removed my hand on his arm. And I couldn't help but tear up. Why? Why now when I realized that I love you? Am I too late?
I've decided to go home and send my family to Changi Airport.
"Sorry, we couldn't bid goodbye to Jin." Mom said. "It's okay mom. He's busy at the hospital." I smiled the usual cheerful smile I always loved to share. Hiding my true feelings again.
"You know my dear daughter. I think you and Jin are more compatible." I was stunned by the remarks of my father. "If you have feelings for one person, tell that person before its too late." Father's warm words made my decision even firmer. I looked at my dad and smile widely at him. "Yes, I will dad." I won't let this day pass without talking to him. I won't run away anymore.
(Jin's POV)
It was only 5 pm when I arrived at the apartment. It was strangely quiet. Usually, Tae would have greeted me just when the door swung open. Something is off.
I removed my jacket and hung it on the coat racks when I felt slender arms wrapping around my waist.
"Luna, what are you doing?" I tried to keep my nervousness. "I miss you." Simple three words made my heart flutter. The pain earlier today long forgotten just because of the simple words and a hug.
"What do you want for dinner?" I held her hands and intertwined with mine. "Let's go out for dinner." She said softly. I smiled. I'm really that weak for her.
"Okay, let me change clothes first." I then headed to my bathroom.

We're here at Racines Restaurant...again. Those memories were coming back. Haunting me.
"Let's go Jin." She held my hand tightly as if her life depends on it. Or maybe that's what I wanted to think. It was a simple candlelit dinner. After we ate steak, the wait staff delivered our dessert. Chocolate cake. Our favorite.
"Go ahead and have a bite." Her voice was a mixture of excitement and anxiety. I looked at her and took a piece of the cake. While I was chewing, I felt that there was something hard so I put my hand in front of my mouth and spit the thing and only to be surprised to see a ring.
"What is this? Did they mistakenly put the cake of other people to our table?" My eyes went huge with wonder. However, it was something I wasn't expecting.
(Author's POV)
Luna was nervous. She wasn't sure if Jin would be glad or it was already late for it.
"No. I prepared it for you." She was fidgeting on her seat. Looking like a small kid. "I know it took me a long time to realize something important." She was breathless as she spoke as if her heart was going to burst.
"Why?" He was bewildered. It couldn't sink into his mind as he already neglected the possibility that the woman he loves would ever love him back.
"I-I'm..." She sighed heavily. "I---I'm... in love with you." She said hurriedly. She closed her eyes waiting for rejection. Everything fell into silence. She could only hear her heart beating crazily for the man in front of her.
"I thought you'll never love me. After all those years, I gave up hoping." He looked down and smiled a bit contemplating. She was preparing herself for the worst. She was indeed a bad woman. She turned him down numerous times.
"I understand if -." She was cut. "I accept your proposal." He looked at her and happiness was evident in his brown orbs.
She lifted her head not believing what she heard. "What?"
"Yes, let's get married." He continued to eat the cake. "When and where do you want to do it?"

After a few months of preparation, finally, the day that the couple had been waiting for has arrived.
It was Jin's turn to say his vows.
He took the hands of Luna and looked at her straight in the eyes "I, Kim Seokjin, take you, Maria Luna Ruiz, to be my lawful wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part." A trickle of tear escaped from his eyes.
"Ms. Luna kindly say your vows."
"I, Maria Luna Ruiz, take you, Kim SeokJin, to be my lawful husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, until say your death do us part." She was crying but not because of sadness anymore instead because she was happy now.
"I pronounce you husband and wife." The clapping sound erupted as soon as the priest said those words.
"I love you, Jin."
