Jacklyn- Howling Winds

This is my first one shot so don't blame me if it is terrible 😂 

Jack's POV

I checked the weather before going to bed. It said there would be mild rain but not too heavy. I was scared about the weather in case there was a storm. I never told the boys about my fear of storms especially Brook because I maybe,sort of, kind of have a crush on him...

...Anyways, I decided to try to go to sleep before the rain starts. The boys all questioned why I was going to bed at 9pm but I just said I was tired.

*Time Skip- 3 AM*

Brook's POV

I woke up at about 2:50 AM to get a glass of water. As I made my way out of my room I heard a whimper coming from Jack's room. I got worried, I sort of like him as more than a friend but he'd never like me like that, I then heard the thunder and the rain pounding off the windows. I put everything together in my head and realised Jack was scared of storms. I rushed into his room and saw him curled up in a ball in the corner of the room. He had his hoodie on and the strings pulled so it covered his face, he was only wearing boxers as well, so he must have been cold.

I slowly and cautiously walked over to him so I didn't scare him. He lifted his head up to see me walking over to him. He was sobbing and he opened his arms for a hug. I went over to him, quicker than before and lifted him and sat on the bed with him cuddled up to me. He was still a sobbing mess and he kept repeating 'don't let it hurt me.' I promised him nothing would hurt him and I was going to protect him. 

Jack's POV

I slowly started to drift off listening to Brook's heartbeat and his calming voice, that was whispering sweet nothings to me.

I woke up the next morning and looked up at Brook who was sound asleep. The events of last night made their way back into my mind and I blushed at the fact that me and Brook fell asleep cuddling. He slowly started to wake up and he looked down at me staring at him, I blushed even harder and looked away. He pulled my head back around to face him and he said, 'Remember I love you and I will always protect you.' He started to lean in and he kissed me. I was shocked at first, but I soon melted into the kiss and we pulled away,gasping for air. 'I love you too.'
