Never in a million years did I think it would be you.
It wasn't supposed end up like this.
Falling for you was never part of the plan.
In my mind you were like a pit stop.
Someone who I could use for my own selfish purposes without attachment.
But things turned out differently...
I never thought it would end up like this.
I never thought I'd fall for you.

But then again, I think I always knew.
People like you are hard to find.
And even though I didn't want you at first,
I'm pretty sure fate had something else in store.
And it frustrated me because I had other places I had planned on going,
I had other faces I had planned on meeting,
I had other things I had planned on doing but that didn't matter.
Destiny had other plans.
And you know what, I never stood a chance.
