Shawn's pov:
The next day Justin came in and talked to the nurses. He then signed some paper works. Then he came towards me.
"Okay so she broke her left leg and just bruised her left arm but she's gonna have to use crunches. Before she leaves they are going to put her leg cast on" Justin says. I then think nicole overheard him.
"WHAT!" Nicole says.
"Don't worry it's just a cast and crunches" I say. Nicole groans. The nurses then came in with some tools. I stayed and watched as they finished the cast. They then got crunches and put them at about her height so it wouldn't be too big or too small. Justin had to leave right away for his tour. But we finally got out of the hospital.
"I know who crashed the car" I say as we get inside the car.
"Don't tell me. Alicia?" I ask.
"Well no. That girl that's her like buddy" I say
"Oh Megan" nicole snorts. I started driving the car.
"You don't have to stay with me" nicole says.
"But I will" I say as I stop at a red light.
"Why is ma-" I cut her off.
"Don't think about him" I say. I didn't want her to be sad.
"Are you still sick?" Nicole asks.
"Eh no?" I say coming out more as a question.
"Shawna!" Nicole says laughing.
"I haven't payed attention to myself in a couple of days!" I say. I felt a sneeze coming. I then sneezed.
"Aww your sneeze is cute" nicole says poking my nose.
"Okay I'm still sick but it's my turn to take care of you" I say.
"Nope. I only have a broken leg and you have your whole body system sick" nicole says
"Only a broken leg" I say rolling my eyes.
"Pleeeeeeeeeeease?" Nicole says.
"Nope" I say popping the 'p'.
"YOUR GOING TO DIE SHAWN" nicole says
"No I'm not I can take care of myself" I say
"And I can too" nicole says
"I don't care what you say" I say
"And I don't care what you say" Nicole says.
"Shawn take a break go home!" Nicole says
"Nah I'm fine being with you" I say.
"Okay!" Nicole says.
~1 hour later~
We finally pull up to Nicole's house. I help her get inside.
"What day is it today?" Nicole asks.
"It's January 2nd" I say
"Shit I have to go to school tomorrow. I missed today. I am going to have a lot of work to do!" Nicole says.
"You'll be fine with mwah around" I say. She gives me a oh really face.
"I bet I'm smarter than you mendes" Nicole says
"Yeah.." I say sarcastically.
"Are you smart?" Nicole asks.
"Yes" I say
"What's 1+1?" Nicole asks
"2" I say
"2+2" Nicole asks.
"This is very stupid but anyways 4" I say
"4+4?" Nicole asks.
"8" I say
"What was the first question I asked you?" Nicole asks.
"What's 1+1" I say
"Wrong I asked you are you smart first so you are dumb" Nicole says laughing.
"Only you" I say patting her back. I'm glad she hasn't thought about Matt.
"I want to go to the mall" Nicole randomly says.
"Then let's go!" I say girlish as we both laugh.
"I was kidding" Nicole says.
"Are you serious I was getting excited" I say.
"I'm too lazy. Can you get me food I'm hungry" Nicole says.
"I'm too lazy" I say mocking her.
"Your a sophomore right?" Nicole asks. I nod.
"Me too" Nicole says.
~10 hours later~
It just hit 10 PM.
"I need to get sleep for school tomorrow. Help me up!" Nicole asks as I help her up and grab her crunches.
"Okay so how am I suppose to climb the stairs?" Nicole asks.
"Use the guest room down here!" I say as she nods. We walk to her guest room.
"I need pajamas go get them for me!" Nicole says.
"Sassy girl!" I say as I go to her room. I look around and try to find her pjs. I got them and then I was look at things I've never seen before in her room. I looked at pictures with her and this boy. There was a note next to it. I started to read it.
"My best friend of the entire world started from the bottom. And now here we are 13 years old. I will never forget about you Sam. We had fights but you know we are still best friends. I love you"
I then read the next one.
"1 month since I lost you. Why couldn't you run away with me. I would go if you asked. Why did you ran away? Why why why?"
"1 year without you. I just turned 15 and you weren't there like you were last year. Come back Sam. This is just a note but I know you know that I miss you"
Then I read the last one.
"2 years without you. I found another best friend so I am not lonely anymore. My best friends name is Matt. I also did something you always wanted me to have. A boyfriend. His name is Shawn and he is very sweet! He sings too! But I wish you were actually here. Come back Sam:("
She never forgot about him.. She keeps writing notes each year. But I want to know why she never told me about him. She told me about her brother and her parents but not him.. I just shrugged it off and went downstairs. I came into the room.
"Finally your back. You took like 50 years!" Nicole says as I give her her clothes.
"Now get out!" Nicole says pushing me out. 1 million questions came to my mind. Nicole then opened the door and I came in.
"Goodnight shawn!" Nicole says as she turns off the lights and goes to bed. Why doesnt she just tell me?
