Chapter 21

Nicole's POV:

I was just sleeping until my annoying alarm came on. I groaned. I totally forgot that shawn was here. His eyes opened. I tried reaching for my alarm but I couldn't. Shawn started laughing.

"What are you laughing at?" I say

"Your struggle" shawn says chuckling.

"Stop laughing and turn this annoying alarm off" I snap as he gets up and turns it off. I then turn around and close my eyes. But shawn pulled the blanket off of me.

"HEY!" I say

"School today missy!" Shawn says

"You have school too!" I say

"Yeah I know I do online school" shawn says.

"Help me get up" I say as he helps. He grabs my crunches.

"Um clothes?" I say. He groans and goes upstairs. In about 2 minutes he comes down with clothes.

"Out you go!" I say and I push him out. I put on my clothes. Then I do my lady things and blah blah blah. I go to my kitchen and eat cereal with shawn.

"Bye shawn!" I say as I am about to leave the house

"Your driving?" Shawn says

"No I'm walking!" I say

"With a broken leg? Are you for real lets go Nicole" shawn says grabbing the keys. He helps me get into the car. He starts driving.

"You have no idea where you are going" I say

"No idea" shawn says.

"Just go straight take a left turn and we are there" I say as he follows my directions. We finally got to school.

"Okay bye!" I say trying to get out of the car. I looked at shawn as he rolls his eyes and gets out of the car, comes to my side and picks me up and puts me on the ground.

"Thank you shawna!" I say squeezing his cheeks.

"Your welcome grandma" shawn says as I laugh.

"Okay but seriously bye" I say walking with my crunches away.

"Your forgetting something" shawn says

"I'm pretty sure I'm not!" I say.

"A kiss from me!" Shawn says. I walk to him and give him a kiss on the cheek.

"Now bye have fun with your online school thingy" I say going away. I see Blake and he has a what happened look.

"Long story short car crash" I say tearing up thinking about Matt.

"Isn't Matt usually with you? Where is he?" Blake asks. One tear falls.

"Lets just say he's in a better place" I say

"HE MOVED TO CALIFORNIA?!?!" Blake says.

"NO DUMB ASS HE DIED" I say crying.

"Sorry I called you a dumb ass just I'm so sad" I say sitting on the bench with him outside of school.

"So Matt is.." Blake says not finishing. I nod my head yes.

"Gosh I never thought about that happening to him" Blake says looking down.

"Can blame it on Megan" I say sighing. I then checked my phone and it was 6:50am. Homeroom starts at 7.

"We should go in" I say as I wipe my face with my hands. Blake pats my back as we go to the door. He opens the door for me and I walk with my crunches. I go to my locker and get my things which was honestly hard cause I need to walk with crunches and carry my things so I figured my problem by just bringing my bag with me the whole time. I then go to homeroom.
