Chapter 9: Belief

Angie's POV

We had all said hello to the new arrivals Gonta and Kirumi.

I still don't know where Shuichi is, I think he went to his room with that blonde girl.

How rude. I thought I was his friend and he's not even around to talk to me.

At least I have Kiyo. He's been, my friend ever since junior high. He's shy but nice.

"So, how long are you staying for Kiyo?" I asked him.

He responded in a quiet voice. " I'm only staying for a couple of hours. My sister is still very sick."

I commented, " You care about Kino a lot don't you".

He looked into my eyes. " Grandfather is very weak and can't do much, but he insisted I join when he saw my messages from Shuichi".

He then rises to his feet. With a mighty shout, he said: " PRAISE BE TO GOD, FOR HE IS GOOD!"

Everyone else stared at him and just chuckled.

I didn't react.

That's always been something about Kiyo that I envied.

My family was an atheist. We did not believe in religion.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Kiyo. I like him. But, I've always wanted to learn about religion. However, my family would disown me.

KOREKIYO'S POV

I sat back down and continued to talk to Angie. She seemed a little off.

After a while, Shuichi and that blonde girl had finally come down.

" Well look who finally came down to join us," said a short-statured boy wearing white( Kokichi).

" Sorry kokichi, everyone. I and Kaede were just... Talking". He said with a blush.

Gonta Gokuhara had made his comment. " Don't you mean, FUCKING! AHAHAHA" he kept laughing until Kaede gave him one of her signature glares and he stopped.

" Shu-Shu would never, right Shu- Shu?" Asked Maki.

" Uhhhh," he said while blushing

"Anyways," said a tall boy with purple hair and a small beard. " Why don't we play a game?" He suggested.

I had an idea. " Why don't we play charades?" I inquired.

" That sounds fun," said Himiko

" I'm in, only if Ryoma will join," said Kurumi

" LETS FUCKING DO THIS" shouted Ryoma

Angie's POV

I and the other 12 party members had gotten settled and began.

We had each written three roles on three strips of paper and placed it in Shuichi's cap.

A busty girl in a pink hoodie named Miu went first.

She was sitting on a chair like a queen and was giving orders.

We had all took guesses until Tenko had finally figured out that she was Queen Cleopatra.

Eventually, after a few turns, I was finally up. I had picked a strip of paper and it had the role of a church preacher. "SHIT" I screamed.

I noticed that I was getting some weird looks and laughed it off. I've never done this before so I got Kiyo to help me.

Korekiyo's POV

Angie had called me into the kitchen.

" What do you need Angie?" I asked her.

She looked at me with an angry expression. " Did you, put this in her!"

I looked down. " Yes.." I say ashamed.

" Sigh, can't be helped," she said while looking down.

" Kiyo, you know it, not a religious person but I need your help. I'm not gonna back down from this game but I don't know what to do. Help me be a preacher!" She asked me.

" of course Angie, I'll help you!"

We walk out of the kitchen and gain everyone's attention.

We play some black church music as we preached.

ANGIE'S POV

Kiyo started us off.

With a mighty voice, he raised his voice.

" GOD O MIGHTY GOD, WE PRAY TO YOU! WE HAVE SISTER ANGIE HERE TO PRAY TO YOU !"

" OH UH.," I remember that Kiyo had told me to do this the best way possible, I should be inspirational and talk about God.

I said this quote with absolute glee.

" GOD, THIS IS A FIRST TIME TALKING TO YOU BUT DAMN, WE HAVE A LOT OF CATCHING UP TO DO"!

"PRAISE SISTA," said Kaito

Kiyo had then changed the song to this.

I continued my prayer.

" GOD, MY WHOLE LIFE hasIVE has BEEN NEGLECTING YOU! BUT I NEED YOU NOW! AFTER WHAT KIYO HAS SAID ABOUT YOU. I BELIEVE YOUR GOOD.

"HE IS GOOD", said Miu

I now had everyone clapping to the beat.

" REPEAT WITH ME Y'ALL. GOD, WE LOVE YOU"

" GOD WE LOVE YOU" they repeated

" YOU ARE A WONDERFUL GOD" I continued

" YOU ARE A WONDERFUL GOD" they repeated

" THE GOAT", said Kokichi

" WE SHOW YOU OUR GRATITUDE AND FELLOWSHIP TOWARDS YOU!"

" WE SHOW YOU OUR GRATITUDE AND FELLOWSHIP TOWARDS YOU!" They copied.

" AMEN" I finished

"AMEN" They finished

" HE IS GOOD", said Shuichi

" PRAISE BE TO THE LORD", said Tenko

I looked to my side to see Kiyo smiling at me.

I ran over and hugged him.

" Do you have a belief in him?" He asked

" I believe !" I shouted
