Chapter 1

Teresa couldn't breath. She opened her eyes he mouth was attached to a tube. In which she pulled it out.rubbing her head she got up and took a look at her surroundings. She was inside the hospital room. She suddenly remembered the previous events. The berg , the fire, janson, the last city, and most importantly Thomas. She removers her falling from the building then blackness. How is she alive ?

I should've been dead.

Suddenly she jumped when nurses came rushing in ushering her to sit down. She soon looked and then realized  that these nurses where from the last city.

" What how how are you guys alive?" She croaked.

" Easy there Teresa you suffered quiet a drop but luckily we were able to save you."

" What What happened."

" After the whole city went down in flames good couple hundred of us managed to escape in burgs we managed to save you when you were falling off the building that collapsed."

" Also Ava Paige survived."

" What that's impossible she was shot."

" We managed to treat her wound and she's currently fine right now."

" But wait where are we."

"WCKD secretly had another city in Denver Incase something happened in the last city it was secretly classified and 98% of the population is immune along with us doctors and nurses here we have others capturing the infected."

" Why was I never informed of this?"

" Like we Said it was top classified."

"You've been out for about a three months now."

" Three - Three months how is that possible?"

" You suffered a major concussion along wit several crack ribs which should be healed right now. Your lucky both of you guys survived."

She nodded. But wait both?

" What do you mean by both?"

" Both you and your daughter Ms.Agnes."

" Daughter?" Shocked.

" You didn't know you were pregnant?"

" Does it look like I knew I was pregnant? how is that possible I haven't done anything like that since-."

" We're so sorry she's it of you we had to induce you when we found you were only five months we did a c section on you. Your lucky she survived. But she has asthma based on the test we ran and we had to keep her on test for a while due to her extreme prematurity."

" Where is she?"

" She's been in the nursery for three months now she's been taken care of by many of our nurses."

" Have you done a paternity test on who the father is?"

" Why yes Ms.Agnes we have it appears the father is subject A2 or Thomas."

Wait she remembers the night before Thomas entered the Maze they confessed to each other and had a moment.

" No...." she croaked.

" We are so sorry Ms. Agnes about the absency but I have to say because of your time in the trials it's a honest miracle your child survived. Would you like to see her?" One nurse asked.

" Yes yes please."

Minutes later a nurse returned with a baby wrapped in a pink blanket and handed her to Teresa.

She gasped and the baby opened her eyes. Tears started flow.

She was the spitting image of Thomas. Hair nose, mouth,  smile except her eyes. They were bright blue sparkling. Except they had speckles of dark brown circulating around. The other things that shocked her was below her left cheek she had a red birthmark. It's didn't bother her she was the most beautiful baby she's ever seen. She started crying having no idea that she had made this child she and Thomas who will never be able to meet her she prays that he made it to the safe haven with the cure.

" I want to name her now she said."

" Alright what do you want to name her."

" Madeline after my mother." She smiled .
