Princey walked through the halls, hands in his pockets and earbuds in, lightly bobbing his head to the music. He was taking a stroll since this was the first time in a century there wasn't someone to accommodate in Purgatory. He stopped to take his earbuds out and shoved them into his pocket. There was a light tap on his shoulder and he drove his black knife into Haylee.
Haylee laughed dryly.
"Was that supposed to hurt, Princey?"
"Sorry."
Haylee pulled the knife out and wiped the blood off on her jacket sleeve. Princey took the knife back and slid it into his belt. He didn't mean to stab Haylee, but he was easily spooked in these halls.
"So," Haylee stated. "Mind telling me what that was about? Or are you just gonna stab me and apologize?"
"I'm just gonna stab you and apologize." Princey rolled his eyes.
"Alright then."
They continued walking.
"So what did you need?"
"Huh?"
"You didn't just tap me to get stabbed in the stomach did you?"
"No."
"Then what did you need?"
"I was going to ask if you and Maddie wanted to come visit Hell but I feel like you guys are just gonna stab my demons so maybe not."
Princey nodded. He wasn't very fond of Hell. It was dark and hot and had numerous demons. He also knew that Haylee didn't take quite nicely to the others stabbing her demons when they got scared. He laughed to himself as he remembered the time Bri tried excorsing a demon once and Haylee fell down laughing. They were already in Hell so it wouldn't have worked.
The two eventually parted ways, Haylee extending her wings and flying off back to Hell, and Princey continuing down the hall. He wasn't really sure where he was going, but noticed he was headed towards Heaven, so he headed there. Bri, the angels, and Haylee all had wings. Princey envied the fact that they could all just fly to where they wanted. If he had wings, he would have wanted black ones. Bri had white wings, and Haylee had pitch black ones. Wings varied in color among angels.
Princey knocked on the door. The looming wood doors opened and he slipped inside. He pulled out his sunglasses and slipped them on. It was always bright in Heaven, too bright. Princey was used to the somewhat haze he had down in Purgatory. He found Bri sitting on the lawn playing checkers with a dog. Princey just kinda shook his head. After years of this shit, it was just normal.
"Bri!"
"Hey Princey! Wanna play checkers with me? Mushu, this hooch, keeps cheating!"
"Sure, Bri."
Princey sat down and made the first move. Bri laid down on her stomach, allowing her soft wings to spread over her onto the grass. Her wings were enormous, yet she somehow managed to fly fine. Bri moved her piece and waited. Princey made another move and sat back.
They continued this until they had played three rounds, Princey beating Brianna effortlessly.
"No fair Princey!"
"Hey, you asked me to play hooch."
Bri huffed.
"I'm going to go to Haylee's. I'll beat that hooch easily."
With that, Bri flew off.
Princey laughed. He knew Haylee would beat her just as easily. After all, they all could.
