"I saved your life!" Bri shouted.
"You pushed me off a building," Princey seethed.
"Yea, to save you!"
"I DON'T HAVE WINGS DUMBASS!"
Fern rolled their eyes at their friends as Haylee shuffled into the room wearing a blue pajama onesie. She rubbed her eyes and yawned. "What the fuck are you guys yelling about? Some of us are trying to sleep."
The two continued bickering while Fern answered, eyeing her attire before going back to their book. "Bri pushed Princey off a building. Obviously."
Haylee nodded. "Obviously."
"Haylee!" Princey called as she walked to the kitchen. "Would you push me off a building knowing full well I can't fly?!"
Before she could answer though, Bri interrupted.
"Of course she would! This bitch would do it for fun!"
"You're not wrong," Haylee agreed, grabbing coffee ingredients from the cupboards. "Besides, it's not like we can die anyway."
"We can't?" asked Fern.
"Nah.. at least I don't think so."
"Haylee what on Earth are you wearing?" Princey questioned.
She looked down at her pajamas and smiled. "It's a Stitch onesie. You like it? I got it off Amazon last week."
"Dude, send me the link," Bri chimed in, settling down onto the couch. "I'll get the pink one and we can match!"
Haylee gave a short thumbs-up and resumed her coffee making.
With that the argument ended and the four of them relaxed on the couches. They were a soft green, same as the ones in the library, with pillows the same shade. During quarantine (not that they had a pandemic going on) they had done a bunch of redecorating, starting with making a small lounge in the kitchen. It gave the much-too-open-looking room a cozy atmosphere. The library was mostly the same but they'd added bean bags, some small tables and chairs, and a miniature stage. Besides all of their own Realms and rooms, the remaining few rooms hadn't really changed.
Haylee took a sip of the coffee in her colorful cat mug. "Hey, you know what we should do?"
"Hm?" Princey hummed in response.
"We should have a sleepover. We haven't had one in a while."
"Oh my gosh, yes!" Bri shouted. "We could play board games, tell scary stories, and do each other's makeup!"
Princey frowned. "Mmm, I dunno. Remember what happened the last time we had a sleepover?"
They all looked over at Fern, who looked back at them from their book. They slammed the book shut and stood up.
"Okay those curtains were not my fault!"
"It wasn't just the curtains Fern it was the entire kitchen."
"And hallway," Haylee added.
"Okay but Gema finally got to renovate it right? That wouldn't have happened without the fire."
"That's not the point."
"Okay forget the fire," Haylee said exasperated, "can we just do the sleepover?"
Princey sighed. "All right fine, but it's not gonna be in my Realm. One of you hoes have to host it."
"Not it. Hell's too hot for you guys anyways."
"I'll host it! Heaven's really nice outside right now, you guys will love it!"
"Alright, it's settled. We'll have it at Bri's Realm in 2 days?"
Everyone nodded and agreed. Hopefully, no curtains would be harmed this time.
