Alec paced back and forth around his office at the institute. He felt a little remorse about leaving Magnus like that, especially with Aamon. Although they've just met, there's just something about him that made Alec feel insecure. The way that Aamon looked at Magnus, like he was prey, made Alec uncomfortable. And now they're alone inside magnus's home. Alec realized that Magnus was defenceless, no magic to protect himself from Aamon if he tried to do something. Alec made a spectacle of leaving, almost bumping into multiple people as he sped through the corridors to reach the door. Magnus was all he can think of as he dashed towards the Brooklyn loft.
