Magnus and Alec sat together on the loveseat in Magnus's apartment. Magnus absently reading an old spell book and Alec, pouring over his tablet to monitor the demonic activity reports of the last few days. In the back of his head, Magnus thought about his day at the institute. Alec and Magnus reported the attack they encountered in Central Park a few days ago. The team was concerened, however, some of the other officials in the institute thought the attack low priority, considering magnus's current powerless state. All in all, no action plan will take place unless a larger threat presents itself. After Central Park, no other attack has yet to happen to Magnus, or any other downworlders.
"What are you thinking mags?" Alec asked, interrupting his thoughts.
Magnus laughed a little "oh nothing Alexander. Just how the clave so easily brushed aside the attack on me now that I don't carry the magic they need to keep the institute safe."
Alec reaches over to put his arms around Magnus and kissed him on the forehead. "Now, Magnus, you know that's not true. But there haven't been any more attacks since then. And I know this sounds bad but there isn't anything we know that the demon we met at the park wants from you that can pose a danger to anyone."
Magnus blew up from that "so without my magic I am just like a mundane!? Helpless and not useful that there isn't anything that anyone possibly NEEDS from me!?" Magnus knew he was overreacting a little, but his feelings were bottled up a little too long and couldn't contain it any longer.
Alec saw that his words were insensitive of magnus's feelings. He stood up to hold Magnus again, holding magnus's head to his chest.
"Mags I know it's a hard adjustment, not having your powers. But you mean the world to me. However, I can't change the views of the clave, and as long as you're safe in my arms, I don't really care about much else."
Magnus calmed a little from Alec's comforting and let his breath steady again.
"You are still a very large part of our operations at the institute," Alec continued. "You are one of the wisest and most knowledgeable warlocks around. More so than Aamon," Alec spat out his name, still angry about him taking advantage of Magnus.
Alec's sweet words melted magnus's heart. Their eyes locked and for a moment the two were lost looking at each other. Alec studied Magnus carefully, his eyes wandered down to magnus's hips, a bit of skin showing between his jeans and tight shirt. A flicker of desire went through Alec, his eyes moved up to magnus's lips again and Alec licked his own in response to the desire rising within him. Magnus snaked his arms around Alec's waist, pulling him closer. The tension was near suffocating with each second that passed. Suddendly, Alec crushed magnus's lips with his own hungry mouth. Magnus let out a low groan and pushed Alec towards the bedroom. The two fell into the yellow silk sheets and let their bodies become tangled with each other. Magnus's cat eyes broke through the glamour that he uses to hide them during everyday life. They only do that when he's lost control of himself. Alec saw the eyes change and smiled, he liked it when Magnus gives up control like that. In the back of his mind, Alec wondered how the glamour still worked even without any of magnus's magic. He decided to ignore it for the time being. Magnus and Alec let their current worries fade into the background, giving in to their carnal desires.
