Yuuki

I feel warmth all over my body. Comfort surrounding me. I feel safe without worries. It's just like home.

My eyes flickered, trying to open them. My visions are blurry from the sun shining on them. A familiar scent overflowed my nose. This smell makes me want to stay in bed forever. The blur finally went away as i rub my eyes, but for some odd reason i'm still seeing black. I moved my hands, trying to touch this black thing. Something moved as i touched it. I looked up to see my partner, who is also my now to be husband wrapping me in his arm. His eyes opened revealing a beautiful dark mysteries eyes. Out of instinct, i pull my self towards his cheek and kissed it. "Hehe. Good morning Darling." I said while holding his cheek. He looked at me while blushing. "Uhm Yuuki... Lay off on the darling will ya? It's really embarrassing." I giggled. He looked cute. "Don't worry, i'll only call you that when were alone." I got up from the bed, stretching my body. "Let's have breakfast." I said smiling wide.

20 minutes later

Kirito

I changed into something more casual like. We ate breakfast and now we're planning to go on a walk. "I'm ready!" Yuuki came out after getting dressed. She's wearing a white thin jacket with a purple t-shirt underneath and red short. She always wear cute clothes. "Let's go then."

At town square

We're walking along the street, passing through shops and restaurants. We're getting more looks from people than usual, but i think it's because we're holding hands, not that i mind. At the corner of my eye, i saw a familiar looking girl with a dragon on her shoulder sitting inside a cafe near the window. "Look Kirito, it's Silica!" We entered the cafe and waved at her. "Kirito, Yuuki! Long time no see." Silica said smiling wide. We sat down across from her. "Hey Silica, how're you doing?" Yuuki asked. "I've been doing great. I'm finally able to traverse the 50th floor." "Looks like you've been busy leveling up." I said. She nodded while eating a cake and feeding some to Pina. We ordered a cake as well. "What are you guys doing today?" She asked. "We don't really have anything to do today. So we decided to walk around the floor." Yuuki said. Silica suddenly stopped eating and stared at our hands. "Uhm... Kirito, Yuuki, what are those rings on your hand?" My face suddenly turned red as i realize that i forgot to tell her that we're married. "Uhh, how do i explain this..." I said scratching my head. "We got married!" With no hesitation, Yuuki said loudly and hugged my arm. I looked at Silica and she just smiled. "Congratulations!" She said smiling. "How are you not surprised?" I asked. "Well, i was kinda expecting it, since you two were so close when i first met you." I have nothing to say back. She continued eating. Suddenly i heard whispers around me. "Oh no... Now rumors are going to be spreading like wildfire." I complained. "What's wrong with that? It'll eventually come out anyway." Yuuki said nonchalantly while still hugging my arm. We continued chatting for a while.

2 hours later

We said our good byes to Silica and left the cafe. "Hey Kirito, let's pay Liz a visit." I nodded. After 10 minutes, we arrived at Liz's shop. We entered, but Liz is nowhere to be found. "Not good enough..." A quiet voice was heard in the next room. We peeked inside the next room and saw Liz with laser focus making a sword. "Hmm... I guess this is fine." She said while lifting a sword and looking at it. "Oii, Lizbeth." I called her out while waving my arm. She got startled and almost dropped her sword. Both me and Yuuki just giggled while watching her. "Damn it Kirito! You almost made me drop a good marketing sword!" I just shrugged. "Anyway, what are you two doing here?" "We came to pay you a visit." Yuuki said. "Really? Then wait in the next room, i'll get ready." We went back and sat at a table. Liz came back with some teacups and tea. "So, how are you two doing today?" She asked while pouring us tea. "It's the best day ever!" Yuuki cheered while drinking the tea like a shot of alcohol. "Hmm? Why is that?" Liz said while grabbing a chair and sat down. "Because of this." She showed the ring on her finger while also lifting my hand to show mine. I expected a shocking reaction, but she just sip her tea. "Ah. Congrats!" "Why are you also not surprised?!" I asked a little frustrated. "It's expected that something is going on between you two. You two were so close every time i see you two." She said with a smirk. I leaned back on the chair and sighed. We chatted for a good hour and left the shop.

1 hour later

We roamed around the town, ate lunch, bought clothes, and had fun. We held hands while doing so. It was reaching 5 P.M, so we went home. While walking towards our house, i decided to tease Yuuki for a bit. "Hey Yuuki." "Yeah?" "I haven't told you this before, but there is a rumor that inside this forest, there was a man who lived near here. One day, that man went into this forest to gather material. But out of nowhere, he was attacked by a white figure. This white figure is not a player nor an NPC because there is no cursor above them. And that man is nowhere to be seen again." I can feel Yuuki's hand clenched harder on my hand. "Kirito, don't say those things?! I get scared easily you know." She squealed in a cute way. I laughed at how scared she looked. Her puffed face and pouted mouth are adorable as ever.

I heard rustles at the bush to my right. I squinted my eyes. There stood a glowing ghost like entity. My heart dropped and pulled Kirito in front of me. "Wha... What is it Yuuki?" "Tha... That!" I pointed my finger to the bush. "Seriously?" I suggested that we book it towards our house, but Kirito just stood there staring at it. "That's not a ghost, that's a girl!" Kirito suddenly ran at the ghost and left me behind. I caught up to him, and the girl fell unconscious. "Who is this girl?" He asked. "Isn't she the white figure from the rumor you said?" "Uhm... Yeah actually, i made that up. I was only trying to scare you." I puffed my cheeks and started pounding on his back out of annoyance. "Well, we should take her back to the house. We'll talk to her when she wakes up." He took the girl and held her piggyback style. We walked back to the house. Kirito put her on the bed and tucked her in. We went back to the living room and slouch down on to the couch. "Do you know where her family is?" I asked. He shook his head. "I don't even know if she has a family. Since she doesn't have a cursor, she's neither a player nor an NPC. We'll just have to wait until she wakes up." I nodded and stood up. "I'll go make dinner, stay here for a bit."

1 hour later

We just ate dinner, and now we're chilling at the dinner table. "Hey Kirito, this is kinda out of nowhere, but i just want to say that i'm very glad that i've met you. There is no one in this world that i'd rather be with except you, and i'm very happy that i had fallen in love with you. And when we are finally able to come back to the real world, i would like for us to still be together like this. Will you still be with me after we leave this world?" "Yuuki... Whether if we are in SAO or in the real world, my love for you will always stick with me. I will love you wherever we are, whenever we are. So that's why, when we get back to the real world, i will find you, and i will love you again." A small tear formed at the corner of my eyes. I can't stop smiling after what he said.

20 minutes later

It had became night time, around 9 o'clock. We went back to our bedroom and saw the girl still unconscious. Both me and Kirito got changed. We climbed in bed, having the little girl in the middle of us. "Hey Kirito, don't you think she looks like our daughter?" He got slightly embarrassed. "Well, i guess she kinda is." "If she doesn't have a family, would you like to adopt her?" "Well i don't mind, but are you sure?" "I always wondered what it's like to be a mother. Is getting pregnant a thing in SAO?" His face suddenly went pale and turned bright red. "I-I don't know... And i don't think i want to know." "I was just messing with you." I said and giggled. "Well if their is, i think i'd rather wait a few more years before doing it, with you of course." He covered his face out of embarrassment. "Oh My God... I can't believe how bold you are for saying that." I just shrugged. "I can't believe how this girl didn't wake from our rambling." I said. "We should follow her example and sleep. It's getting late, and we have to go find her family tomorrow." "You're right. Good night, Kirito." "Night, Yuuki." Before i went to sleep, i looked at the girl and hugged her. We fall asleep like a family.

Sorry for making this chapter a little short. 1500+ words rather than the normal 2000+ words. I just can't procrastinate any longer, and i feel bad for not posting for 2 months. I hope you enjoy this chapter, and look forward to the next one.
