The New Beginning (Kirito x Yuuki)

Kirito

It's 8 A.M and i'm having breakfast with Yuuki. "It's strange that Argo is not here today. Doesn't she always come every morning to have breakfast with us?" Yuuki asked. "I heard she's in a lengthy quest, so she'll be unavailable for some time." I ate my last piece of waffle and put the plate on the dish washer. "Thanks for the food Yuuki, you're the best." I said with a smile. "Your welcome!" "So, we're going to the labyrinth today, right? Let's get ready and we'll head out as soon as possible." She nodded and we prepare everything that we needed for today. We head out to the teleport gate and teleported to the labyrinth's floor.

Yuuki

We finally made it to the floor. Right when we were about to leave to the labyrinth, some guy stopped us. "HEY YOU! Black Swordsman! I challenge you to a duel." We both looked at him confused. "What? Why so sudden?" Kirito asked. "I saw your duel yesterday, and i can't accept a beater like you to be in the front line. The guy you dueled was weak, i'm stronger. So come on, duel me!" "Aww man, i'm tired with all these duels." He said, following up with a heavy sigh. "Well then, let me take care of it. You just sit back and watch ok." He looked at me instantly. "Are you sure? I don't want to you to deal with my problems." "It's okay, i don't mind. And beside, what's your problem is also mine." I said reassuring him. "Thanks Yuuki." He said with a smile. I looked at the guy and gave him a glare. "If you're going to duel Kirito, you have to duel me first. If you can't beat me, there's no way you can beat Kirito." I said. "What?! Don't waste my time, i'm here for the beater, not you." "What, scared of a little girl like me?" I said teasingly. I can see his face twitching in anger. "Alright fine! But i'm not going easy just because you're a little girl." He said and sent a duel request to me. I looked back at Kirito and he gave me a thumbs up. I smiled and press the accept button. The count down started and i unsheathe my sword. He took out his two handed axe. We attracted a small crowd. I got into a stand and so did he. The timer reaches zero and i instantly dash in front of me. "What the-?!" I quickly did 3 swings at him, but he manage to block 1 of them. His health is now at 75%. He recovered quickly and looked at me with anger in his eyes. He started running towards me preparing a sword skill. Right when he swings his axe, i moved to his back and push him forward which made him stumble and fell down face first. I can hear Kirito chuckled in the back. I decided not to waste anymore time and went straight at him. I did a quick 3 horizontal swings, followed with an up strike. I finish it with 5 stabs to his chest. His health went into the red zone, signalling my victory. I went back to Kirito who had a pleased look on his face. "Nice job Yuuki, thanks again!" He said with his fist up. I fist bumped him. "Hehe, it's nothing. Now let's get to the labyrinth." "Right." We finally resume our journey to the labyrinth.

Kirito

We're in the labyrinth fighting monsters and mapping the place out. I checked my map to see where we are, and where the road is leading. "Are we there yet?" Yuuki complain behind me. "I don't know. Just from the look of it, you can tell that this floor's labyrinth is way larger than any other labyrinth. Fortunately, the road seems to straighten here. I think that we're getting closer to something." "And by something, you mean that?" I looked at Yuuki to see her pointing in front of me. I looked forward to see a gigantic door. "Whoa... I think that's the boos room." I said astonish. "Let's go check it out!" Yuuki said excited, walking right pass me. I grabbed her shoulder stopping her. "We're not going to fight the boss okay? We're just going to check it out." I said seriously. "Yeah, yeah i know. Come on!" She grabbed my hand and dragged me to the door.

"Get out your teleport crystal." I said. She did and unsheathe her sword. I did the same and readied my self. I push the door with my left hand, alongside Yuuki to my right. As the door open, cold air rushed out giving me chills. We both went in with our swords and crystal ready in hand. As i look at my surroundings, Damn, i have a bad feeling about this... i thought as i kept cautious. All of the sudden, blue fire were lit around the room, brightening the place up. I looked around the room and saw a huge throne at the end of the room. There sits a dark figure. It stood up from it's throne and leaped really high, landing right in front of us. Shit... Is all i can think of saying. I quickly grabbed Yuuki's hand and went full throttle to the exit, both of us screaming our lungs out. As we made it to the door, we both close the door as quickly as we can. Out of fear, we continued to run, even though the boss wouldn't chase us outside the boss room. We stopped near a wall when our legs couldn't hold up. I slide down to the floor feeling tired, followed by Yuuki who sat beside me panting. We rest for about 10 minutes, when suddenly my stomach started growling. I looked at Yuuki and saw her giggling. "Looks like someone is hungry after a marathon." "Oh shut up, i always get hungry after running like that." I said embarrassed. "Heheh, it's fine. Besides, it's a good time to have lunch anyway. Be sure to take off your glove." She said and took out a picnic basket out of her inventory. She took out a delicious looking sandwich. "Di-did you make it your self?" I asked. "Sure did, now don't drop it like last time." I took one sandwich and took a big bite of it. Like always, her cooking is heavenly. Then it hit me, Wait, how is there mayonnaise? Mayonnaise aren't implemented in SAO flavouring system. "Heh, judging by your confused face, you must be thinking about the mayonnaise right?" Yuuki said. "Yeah, where in the world did you get mayonnaise from?" I asked. "It's a special skill that you unlocked when you max out your cooking skill. It gives you permission to experiment with the flavouring system to learn a brand new flavour that is not implemented yet. I experimented a lot and successfully made a replica of mayonnaise. Not only that, taste this one." She said and took out a bottle full of black liquid. She put drops of it on my arm and i drink it. "Wow, that taste like soy sauce." "Yep, sure is." We continued eating until we are full.
