About a week later, we were told we can finally go home. Cato decided to move in with me, at first I objected. It wasn't fair for him to still be young and not in any contact with his family, so I made him agree we can visit them once every two months.

Since we both won, I have a house in District 12 that Cato's going to move into with me. And Cato has a house in District 2 so his family can live there. Were in the train right now, on the way back to 12. I'm sitting in a train car with a window with Cato. His arm is around my shoulder and I'm at peace.

In the arena I never got the chance to tell him I love him, you know cause I died.

"Cato?"

 "Angel,"

I don't know how to say this, should I just blurt it out, that's not romantic at all. Alright I'm going to do it.

"I love you"

He turns to face me and smiles the biggest smile I have ever seen, "You what"

I laugh "I love you"

"What"

"I love you" I laugh saying it louder.

"Say it again"

"I love you Cato Hadley"

"One more time."

I scream "I'm totally in love with you, Cato Hadley."

"I love you too Rowan Everdeen."

When we arrive home, the first person I look for is Prim and my mother.

Then I see her, the yellow braids in her hair tied with blue ribbons running up to me. She jumps into my arms and I twirl her around. "I told you I would come back." I laugh.

My mother comes up to me and hugs me "I...thought I lost you." Oh, the pain my family must have felt when I was 'dead'.

"I'm not leaving that soon." She cries and Prim does too.

"And who is this handsome young man." My mother looks at Cato and hugs him.

"Mom!" Oh my gosh she is the most embarrassing person in the world.

"Hi, Mrs. Everdeen, how are you today."

"Thank you I am well, you have great manners. Thank you for taking care of Rowan. Trust me you're going to have your hands full with that one."

"Maybe you two can bond over that" I step in.

"You know I think we could." Cato teases. My mom already likes him more then me.

"Pasiley..."

"Right behind you," she laughs "You know you really scared me when you died there." She looks up at me and smiles. I hug her immideatly and we laugh.

"I knew you could take care of yourself."

"Yea, thanks to you."

"You would have found a way to survive without me."

"Maybe, maybe not."

Cato stands by himself awkwardly so I introduce him, "Oh, Pasiley this is Cato."

"Tell me something I don't know."

"Rowan it's like a mini you." He laughs

"Mhhhh, Thanks" I say

Cato and I don't live happily ever after, I still get nightmares. I still can't pick up a bow and arrow without screaming. I see Glimmer and Clove every now and then. I can't just shake the feeling of me killing someone. That will never go away.

I met Cato's family and his friends, Cato's convinced I would fit in there more then he would.

What Cato doesn't understand is that this battle is far from over.

It has just begun.

YAY! I THINK THIS IS THE END. I will post in a sec. XOXO -Serena
