A/n: Hey guys like I promised no more slacking so here's a new chapter which is longer than the one from yesterday. Hope you guys enjoy it!
As I walked into the warehouse everyone was whispering. "Oh my god, is that her?" "Yeah, I feel so bad for her." "Why? She could have killed us just a second ago." "That's crazy." "Look at how beautiful she is," suddenly hearing this I snapped my head in the direction of the voice. I noticed that one of the guards was taking a scientist into another room. I grabbed Jake's arm and pointed to the scientist. "I wanna talk to him first," Jake looked surprised. "We just finished talking to him. I don't think-," I cut him off. "Now," he nodded his head then stopped the guard to take the scientist. I was out in a room with a table and two chairs. It looked like a crappy interrogation room. Doctor Dern was sat in the other seat. Eddie was also in the room just in case I got really upset. "So, do you mind repeating that statement from earlier?" I said harshly. "Why of course dear. You look beautiful, but I would love to see what you're hiding," I clenched my jaw as this perv looked me up in down in anticipation. I looked down at my hands then closed my eyes letting the other form show. I heard clapping as I looked up. "Oh yes, wonderful. It seems your body has started the first stage." My eyes got wide, what was this freak the one who did this to me? "What first stage!" Eddie came from behind me and slammed his hands down on the table. "Sorry, but I'm only talking to the pretty, young lady." Eddie didn't like that answer and grabbed Dern's shirt pulling him closer. "You fucking son of a bitch. You're going to be sorry," suddenly Venom came out. I jumped up trying to stop them when I threw my hands up about to grab Venom he was shoved back with a great force. Out of shock he dropped Dr. Dern. Venom looked at me in shock and I quickly ran out of the room. Venom tried to follow me, but Jake stopped him. I ran out the back door and my wings instinctively opened from the gust of wind. I ran and my wings began to flap slowly lifting me off the ground. Soon I was in the air flying over everything. I landed... well, crash landed at the docks. I pulled my knees to my chest as I felt the weight of all this stress on top of my shoulders. Why couldn't that bullet have just made me dead instead of this freak show? As I looked out at the sun setting over the water I felt a familiar presence behind me. I was then embraced by two big black arms. "I knew you'd be here," he said as I leaned back into him. "What happened back there?" He asked and I looked up at him. "What happened is I'm becoming someone other than my normal, crazy, anti-hero, serial killer self." Venom looked at me with a softened gaze. "I know you hate this right now and that you're changing, but maybe... just maybe this change won't be so bad. Plus no matter what we still love you," Venom said hugging me. "Why don't we call it a day and head home?" I nod as we get up. I fly my way back to Eddie's apartment as Venom swings from building to building. It was hard to land at first, but after the third time trying to get in I finally did it. Eddie made us dinner and as we were watching movies on the couch I fell asleep. I woke up the next morning to the smell of bacon. I sat up and went into the bathroom as I was reaching for the sink to turn the water on my hand caught fire. I screamed seeing purple flames in the palm of my right hand. Eddie ran into the bathroom seeing the issue he grabbed my hand then ran it under the running water. When the flames went out he gently grabbed my hand. "How do you not have any burns?" I looked at my hand and noticed that I in fact did not have any burns. "Well, they were purple like my eyes." We decided not to question it anymore. I smelt something burning as Eddie ran in to the kitchen. I followed him as he threw the burnt food and pan into the sink. I looked and noticed the blackened bacon. "No, not the bacon!" I said dramatically as Eddie laughed. I pulled my hair up and made some more bacon. When we finished cooking we sat down to eat. Eddie kept making stupid jokes that caused me to spit my drink across the table. This of course made us laugh even harder. We were going back to the warehouse today. I wanted to know what those freaks did to me. "You have no idea how cute you were last night," Eddie said as we were getting dressed. "How so?" I asked seeing him smile to himself. "After you fell asleep I turned off the movie and picked you up. You woke up slightly and whispered my name. I asked what was wrong and all you said was I love you. Then you snuggled up and went back to sleep," I was blushing like crazy as I finished getting dressed. I felt something snake around my waist and when I looked down I saw Venom's arm. "Yes, very cute last night. Although not as cute as right now," he said whispering in my ear. I turned and buried my head in his chest. He laughed knowing he had gotten to me. "Come on," I said regaining my composure. Instead of driving I decided to fly and Venom swung from place to place. We went through the back door and weren't stopped this time. I went into the same room as last time and saw that creep sitting there. "Alright, can you explain how you did this to me?" I asked and he gave me a wicked grin. "My dear, you've always been like this." I stopped when I heard that. "Can you elaborate?" "Well, you were born this way. We have simply made your change happen sooner," my change? What does he mean born this way? "I don't wish to upset you, but if you continue coming to visit me I will tell you parts of your story. How does that sound?" I was unsure, but I had to know. I nod as he starts his story. "When you were born in New York your mother and nurses were shocked to see such a strange child. Your eyes were that amazing purple, but after a few minutes your eyes turned green. Your mother gave you to the LIFE foundation one week after having you. Your mother said your body would change at night and she could no longer stand to look at you. We raised you at the lab until you were one. We then moved you to a house where a few scientists pretended to be your family. We had seen your kind before and knew that once you turned 30 your body was going to change. Growing up you had a tendency to kill things which is common with your kind. It just runs in your blood," he stopped as the tears fell from my eyes. My whole life has been a lie thanks to who I am. How come I don't remember any of this? "Can you tell me one last thing before I go?" He seemed to be pondering over the question before nodding his head. "What am I?" He smiled at the question. "You my dear, are what we call a Wisteria." I was confused, but left regardless of the confusion.
