Caught Pt. 1

I had woken up earlier than Eddie and was ready to get up. I went to get out of the bed only finding that I was unable to do so. I looked down seeing Eddie's arm wrapped around me. I gently moved his arm trying my best not to wake him. I slipped out from his grip then quietly walked into the kitchen. "Breakfast sounds good," I said to myself as I got out some pancake mix and bacon. I had finished cooking a few pieces of bacon and three pancakes when suddenly a pair of arms wrapped around my waist. I tensed up at first then relaxed as Eddie laid his head down on my shoulder. He yawned then grabbed a piece of bacon. "How long have you been up?" He said picking up one of the pancakes. "It hasn't been long," I said putting another pancake on the stack. I stopped cooking to eat with Eddie after we were done eating he helped me clean up. We went over to the couch to see what was on. Everything on was really boring so, we decided to get dressed and go out for a little while. We were walking down the street when a guy come up the me he pulled me into an alleyway with a knife to my throat. I had been walking behind Eddie and he hadn't realized what had happened. I took a spin on the situation by stomping on the guy's foot. He dropped the knife and I kicked his legs out from under him. I kicked the knife away from him just in time for Eddie to run into the alley. "(Y/n), are you okay? What happened?" He was bombarding me with questions. "I'm fine he pulled me into the alley with a knife," I said not realizing how relaxed I seemed about this situation. "Um okay, how did he end up on the ground?" He asked noticing my unusual attitude. "Sorry for me being so calm about this I took some self defense classes and I handled the situation," I said as I grabbed his hand then walked out of the alley. I dragged him behind me as we continued to walk away. "V, said he could have eaten him. Especially since he threatened you," I smiled as I dragging them away. "No V, you can't just go around doing that. Thanks though for being worried about me," Eddie finally got in front of me. He took me to cute little book store a few blocks away. "So, what are we doing here?" I asked confused then he gave me a smile. "Okay, here is what we're going to do. We go through the book store then pick out books for each other and V of course." I giggled then walked into the store looking for a book for Eddie and one for Venom. I found a horror book for Venom and a science fiction book for Eddie. I met back up with them at the front of the store. We bought the books then gave them to each other. I had been given a cheesy werewolf romance novel and the first book of manga series. We went back to Eddie's apartment and I was about to walk in when I got a texted from Xavier. He was asking me to come to the warehouse to pick up a few pieces of gear for my suit. I looked up to see Eddie looking at me worriedly. "Hey that was my boss I really don't want to go, but he wants me to drop by the office to pick up a few papers." I said lying the best I could. I walked in to give Eddie a hug. The door slammed as I pulled away. "V, I need to go that was the arrangement. When I had to go to work I had to leave. So, now I have to go to work." I said as he took over Eddie's body. "Do you really have to go?" He asked in a sad tone and I shook my head. "I know I don't want to leave either, but I promise to start reading the books when I get done with work tonight." I said walking over to give the big guy a hug. He hugged me back then opened the door. I left smiling as Eddie closed the door behind me.
