I quickly spun around holding my knife to a guy's throat. He laughed and I was confused a bit. "Perfect," He said and I backed off not understanding. "How would you like a job?" He asked in a creepy voice. "What do you mean?" I asked staying away. He stepped forward and I noticed that he had many tattoos all over his body. "You're the girl from the market, right? You knocked out my buddy Carlos and broke his nose," I remembered my first night in San Francisco. "Yeah that was me now what job are you talking about?" I asked wondering what he meant by a job. "You're good a hurting people and almost just killed me. I need someone to become a hit man. You have the perfect attitude for it and it pays really good," I looked at him a bit suspicious of this so called job. Although a good pay and killing people it would be perfect. "Fine, when do I start?" I asked he gave me a card. It has a number and an address. "Come to this address tomorrow and we will get you started. If you need me at any time that's my number and my name is Xavier," he then left the alley I waited a few minutes then walked my way back home. I didn't realize how far I had walked until I had to walk all the way back to the apartment. The walk had taken me a while so it was late by the time I got home. I went straight to bed then went to the address I was given the next morning. I pull up to a creepy warehouse. There were cars outside, but this place just looks super nasty. I walk up to the metal door only to find that it's locked. Someone opens a slot in the door then looks down at me. "Password?" I was confused Xavier didn't give me a password. "Um, I wasn't given a password." I said and he closes the slot for a minute then opens the door. "Don't worry chica I was just playing around. You're here to see Xavier, right?" I nod then follow him to an office area. I walk in seeing Xavier in a chair behind the desk. I sit down then wait for him to say something. "I'm going to ask you some questions just answer them honestly then we'll be all set," I nodded my head as he looked at a piece of paper. "When did you first kill?" "It was about five months ago," I said and he wrote something down. "Tell me what happened that day," he said and I took a deep breath. "I was just a normal college student, but my classes had gotten canceled that day. I went to the farmers market down the road and when I returned home I heard a noise up stairs. I grabbed a knife from the kitchen then went up stairs looking into each room. I guess I had missed him as I was checking the rooms because he came up behind me taking the knife out of my hand then pressed it up against my throat. He then took me to my room, tied me to my desk chair then gagged me. In the process of tying me up he knocked a few things over. He then left the room, I was able to spin around in the chair noticing my scissors on the floor. I sunk down into the chair picked up the scissors then used them to cut myself free. As I got up I heard him coming up the stairs so I hid in the closet he noticed I was gone, but went back down stairs. I assume he checked the rest of the house then came back to my room. At this point I had already stepped out of the closet and waited behind my door when he come back in I stabbed him in the neck with the scissors. I watched him panic as he realized what happened I watched as he bled out right there in my room. When I knew he was dead I removed his mask. I had gotten a look at his face before I decided I should get rid of his body. There was a tree in my back yard that I dug a hole under. I put his body in it then filled up the hole. I went to the store afterwards to get supplies to clean up the mess. When I got home I cleaned up the blood with towels then threw them away. That was it," I had finished the story and Xavier had a smile on his face. "Ok, good story so how many other times have you killed?" "Well after the first time I had an urge to kill more,at first I tried to resist for the months after, but it had gotten harder. I mostly kill about once a month now just to fight off the urge," I said feeling a bit embarrassed. "Ok, do you have a preferred weapon?" "I like knives, but I don't have a favorite." He nods then stands up, I stand up too. He reaches out his hand and I shake it. "You got the job," I wasn't surprised to be honest. I followed him to a bigger room in the warehouse. I noticed several guns and targets on the far wall. "Are you familiar with any gun?" Xavier asked picking up a pistol. "Yeah my dad had guns and we went to the shooting range basically every weekend," he handed me the gun. I shot it three times each time hitting the head part of the target. Xavier looked shocked, I smiled then continued to shoot each gun that they had. Afterwards they measured me because they wanted to make me a suit of some kind. I left soon after, but before I got home I stopped by the market grabbing some more food I saw the same guy in there. He looked like he was in a daze just kind of trudging around. I picked up some hot chocolate mix and some chocolate syrup then went home. I called the number that was on Xavier's card. I heard a deep voice on the line and I was confused because it didn't sound like Xavier. "Hi can I speak to Xavier?" "Yes, one moment please." The guy sounded really professional. "Hey girl what's up?" Xavier said on the line. "So, when is my first job?" I asked confused. "You will be taking your first job tomorrow night. You will come by here to get your suit, I'll give you your weapon, then I'll give you the address. Not to mention your suit will have a communicator so we can talk to you while you're doing your job," I was kind of excited to have a job again even if that meant killing people. I hung up the phone then went to bed.
