Footsteps echoed on the cold stone floor of a long corridor. The walls were damp and some stones were cracked and covered in dirt and moss.
As they walked, their shoulders were tense and it was obvious they were on edge. They didn't seem comfortable in the dreary atmosphere of their surroundings. Although the space was tight and the narrowness was quite something, the lengthy corridor didn't seen to bother them though.
Although they weren't fond of the area by any means, they still trekked their way through it.

There was another figure in front of them and another behind. The one in front seemed to be a large man, as their shoulder span was quite on the large side. In the back there was a slender woman, constantly watching the back. The man in the middle was being escorted to where he'd spend hopefully only a day.

She gasped as her chains were pulled. They rustled and changed and clinked. Her wrists were still bound, but the ends of the chains were now held by Gabriel Reyes rather than the bed posts.
He was pulling her down a brightly lit hallway, glowing lanterns along the walls, to what he said would be somewhere better suited for his wife to-be. He pushed open a door to a much grander and much fancier room. It was gallant and beautiful, even under the current circumstances.
A warm glow seemed to radiate from the new area and A large, crystal chandelier hung from the center of the room, a fuzzy red rug beneath it. A four pillar bed lay against the wall, adorned with silky dark red sheets and black and red gradient bedspread. A black, see through drape fell over the top of the bed, adding a cozy vibe to the room.

Gabriel Reyes yanked on her chains with another loud rattle. He then tossed her to the bed, a slight smirk plastered onto his dark face.

She fell against it with a slight thud and a gasp escaped her lips due to the impact.

"My My Angela.. You best settle down. Our wedding will be held soon. I wont tell you the minutes, nor hours, nor days. It could be whenever." He chuckled slightly before kneeling down next to the pale woman. "But you will stay here." He undid the chains deftly before sending a kick into her soft stomach, knocking all air out of her. This gave Gabriel time to exit the room and lock the door behind him.

Angela attempted to move but she wasn't used to being treated so roughly, and instead crumpled onto the ground before she began to sob. Not from pain, nor from being Gabriel Reyes's prisoner, but because well.. She felt like she was without something that she needed. Something that had made her happy. Something that kept her spirits high.

"I hope you find these accommodations to your liking."

The man nodded his thanks, his eyes looking at a small private chambers. It was furnished of a small bed, closet, and wooden desk. There was a singular window in the room and it had red curtains that swung over it.

"We're pleased to know someone with a title like yours would even consider being here with us."

The man still said nothing.

After not getting a response once again, the others in the room left without another word.

He sat down on the bed and his elbows rested on his thighs. His hands held his head, face down. He was sad, upset, mournful, enraged, angered, longing, and wishful.

Due to the circumstances of why he was here helped gain the trust of the Reyes kingdom. They were all under the belief that he wouldn't try anything, but his behavior was often quite reckless, so that may prove to be untrue.

"Amelie, tomorrow you're to watch for any movement outside the designated area.

Akande, Olivia, I want you two to stand guard.

And Moira. You know what you're to do."

"Yes sir," they all said in unison. "We won't disappoint the Reaper."

He gave a crooked, wicked smile. "The Reyes kingdom will rule all by sunset tomorrow. The princess shall be married."

The dark skinned Hispanic known as Olivia intervened, "What will become of her afterwards?"

"She'll become his toy. His plaything. She'll be used to pleasure him and thats it." The Realer laughed. "In fact, I think he's about to do just that."

The door opened violently, Gabriel walking over to the blonde with heavy footsteps.
"Princess Angela..."
He grabbed ahold of her hair roughly, not allowing her to move far.
With his other hand, he started to pull his belt off and let his pants drop.

She lay unmoving, she felt violated and completely used.

The man, new to the castle, heard a woman's scream and his eyes widened with utmost worry. What really was this kingdom?
Whatever it was, he knew he had to last at least another day... And then... Maybe it would be over.

In all honesty,
I don't have the motivation to write.
This chapter is shorter than what I usually publish, which I apologize for.
Especially since you readers always have to wait for so long.

I also wish to apologize with the pace of the story and how fast ot progresses. And that one, very brief scene, well, I'm hoping to use it to help build the ship of Gency in the story.

Hopefully next chapter will be actually good... There will be a skip by about a day though.

Again, I'm sorry
