The whole week went by so slowly. Work hours were unbelievably slower than anything. Even though I was doing one of my favorite things to do in the world, singer of a band, writing and recording an album, it seemed to drag on and on.
After work, Emily and I went to the mall each day to look at clothes that we should wear to go to VidCon. Since it was a more casual event in California, I decided that I would wear denim shorts, with a light blue sleeveless top, and sandals.
"What should I do with my hair?!" I screamed, frustrated. Emily ran to the bathroom, where I was attempting to do my hair.
"Well, with that outfit, I would suggest just letting your hair down... And maybe a braid on the side... Yeah that'd look nice." Emily suggested.
"Okay. I just really hope Joe would like it. And Connor... And Troye... Wouldn't it be awesome if I could make a video with them? Or get their number? Or have lunch with them? Or-"
"Yes I know that'd be awesome. Imagine me shopping with Tyler Oakley." Emily said, more maturely.
"Rapping with Marcus Butler?"
"Singing with Trevor Moran?"
"Doing makeup with Zoe Sugg?"
"Playing Pokemon with Ricky Dillon?"
"Doing impressions with Joe Sugg?"
"Yeah... That'd be awesome. But we really need to get ready." Emily said.
"I'm already ready, I'm waiting for you, slowpoke." I said.
"Uh huh... Did u get the questions to ask Joe?" Emily said while tying up her long, blonde hair.
"I completely forgot! Should I grab yours too?"
"Uh yeah of course! Unless you want to be late to see him..." At that, I ran to my desk and her desk to grab the small notecards we prepared for the interview.
"Oh and I have a surprise." Emily said to me as we finally got in the car.
"What?" I asked.
"I'm not going to interview him. You are. I already emailed Joe and told him so there's no backing out." I suddenly felt red in the face. My cheeks felt hot. I was going to interview Joe Sugg... Alone?! I was hoping that Em would be next to me asking some questions while I stared at J- I mean listen to his answers.
"Wait, so do I use your questions?" I asked.
"Yep, have fun!" Emily replied.
