He put his hand on my shoulder, and smiled at me. I smiled back, but the butterflies in my stomach were larger than ever. My heart was racing as he lead the way to the O2L booth. And soon, I saw the five guys that are such a huge inspiration to me, besides Connor and Joe of course. There they were, standing in front of me, Sam, Kian, Trevor, Ricky, and JC.
"Hey guys." Connor said to them as he got to their booth. "There's someone I want you to meet. This is Rebecca."
"Hey Rebecca, I'm Ricky." Ricky said, patting me on my back. "And this is Sam, JC, Trevor, and Kian!" He said pointing to each person. They all waved as they were introduced. I waved back to them shyly.
"Nice to meet you guys!" I said sort of quietly. I just realized that I'm a lot more shy than I thought I actually was. Oh, well. I checked the time on my phone. It was already half an hour.
"Uh Connor?" I said, tapping him on the shoulder. He was in a conversation with JC, and probably thought I was being rude. "I think you guys have a show to perform." He gave me a confused look, checked his own phone, and said:
"You're right! Guys we gotta go get ready!" And he grabbed my arm and ran off towards the stage.
