After digging into our food, we ran immediately upstairs to my bedroom. By that time, it was about 8:15. I ran into the bathroom, and I heard Emily plop on my bed. I have to admit, I had a pretty comfy mattress. After I ended my shower, and was wrapping my towel around myself, I heard a banging on the bathroom door.

I opened it, completely covered, and Emily almost fell right on top of me. She ran over to the toilet, and kneeled down.

"Emily, are you ok-" I was interrupted by the liquid and chunks sound falling into the toilet. I ran into my room, and put on my robe, and ran back in. Emily's face was green, and there wasn't really anything I could do about it.

"Get-the-medicine." She said in between vomits. I nodded, even though she couldn't see me, and scampered downstairs to the medicine cabinet, got the "stomach medicine," a glass full of water, and ran back up the stairs. By the time I got back to the bathroom, Emily had stopped throwing up. Her face slowly went back to her normal color, but she was resting against the wall next to the toilet. Without a word, I gave her the pills and the water, and she took it.

"Okay, you know what? I'm gonna stay home and help you." I said, taking back the rest of the meds and water.

"No," she gasped. "You have to go with Joe. You... can't pass that up." She insisted.

"No, I'm just gonna tell Joe that I can't today." I stated.
