Chapter 36

I locked the house, and walked to the main road. I tried to call a taxi, but none came. I had to actually walk.

Luckily, I paid attention to where Joe drove last night, and got there in just 15 minutes. I live in a city, so everyone walks. I finally got to Tyler's house, but the car wasn't there. Suddenly, I heard my phone ring. I got it out of my pocket and answered. It was Emily.

"Hi." I said.

"The car isn't at Tyler's house, it's at the convention center." She said.

"Ugh. Do I have to walk there?" I asked.

"No, I asked Tyler if he could drive you there when you get to his house."

"Um okay, gotta go bye." I hung up the phone, and knocked on his door. It was, surprisingly, Troye who answered.

"Emily! Hi!" He said, hugging me.

"Hi Troye. Is Tyler here? Emily said that-"

"Yeah I know. He is. But um... He's not taking you. Connor is." Troye said.

"I know, I know. I'm coming!" Connor yelled. I had a small shock on my face, but I hid it as best as I could.

"Ready to go?" Connor asked.

"Uh yeah. Bye, Troye!" I said, as Connor closed the door.

"What's up?" He asked me as he unlocked the car.

"Um, you!" I said. That was a little weird. He gave me a weird look. "I got a call from Emily saying that Tyler was going to drive me and now you are so I'm just a little confused."

"What? You don't like me or something?"

"No I do!" I chuckled. "Never mind. But what's up with you?"

"As you say, you. I'm driving you, aren't I?" He laughed.

"Yeah... So I have a question." I said.

"Yep."

"I hope you don't mind, but I was just wondering why you and Troye haven't made a video together yet? I mean, you guys are really good friends, right?"

"Yeah... Um I don't know actually.... Now I have a question for you."

"Ask away, my good friend." I smiled.

"Me and the guys are gonna be doing the whisper challenge and I was wondering if you wanted to come do it with us. And you won't be the only girl there, Andrea and Lia are gonna be there." YES YES YES. JUST YES. I WANTED TO SCREAM. But I kept my cool.

"Yeah sure!" Im. Gonna. Be. In. A. Video. With. Connor!!!
