Winn was helping Mon-El fix J'onn's car in the garage because Winn would never miss a spaceship repair. It'd been pretty quiet for a few minutes with only the clinking of tools until Mon-El said, "Winn, I've been thinking about something, pretty much ever since I got back here." Winn gave him a quizzical look, "What's been on your mind?" Mon-El began to crack a little smile, "I want to propose to Kara." Winn hopped up so fast he nearly knocked over he took box, "Dude, are you serious?" Mon-El's smile grew, "Yeah, you wanna help me pick out a ring?" Winn's eyebrows raised, "Um, yes, of course I do."

They finished up the car and went out to a jewelry store. The boys were looking at the rings through the glass. Winn saw one and whispered, "I honestly think she'd say yes to any ring you gave her, but I think she'd love that one." The clerk took it out, Mon-El paid for it and they left the store.

Later that night, Mon-El flew up to Metropolis. He knocked on Clark's apartment door. He heard feet approaching the door. It swung open, "Hey man." Mon-El said, trying to sound as cool as possible. "Hey, what's up? Did something happen?" Clark asked, seeing as Mon-El had never come to his apartment alone before. "No, everything's fine. I just have a question I need answered." He said leaning on the kitchen counter, Clark on the other side, "Shoot." Mon-El was twiddling his thumbs until he finally got out, "I wanted to ask for your permission to ask Kara to marry me." Clark was dumbfounded, "Of course you can, but you really didn't need to ask me, it's not the 20s, bro." He said trying his best not to laugh. "I read about it in a book." Mon-El said. Clark pursed his lips together until the urge to laugh passed, "Did you get a ring?" Mon-El pulled the box out of his pocket, "Yeah." Clark nodded and then cocked his head a bit to the side, "Do you have the receipt, you know, just in case?" He asked smiling. "Ha. Ha. You think you're so funny, don't you?" Mon-El asked. "I know, I'm just kidding, I love you man. I'll see you later!" Mon-El was walking toward the door when Clark yelled, "Wait! Winn picked out the ring, didn't he?" Mon-El opened the door and started walking out, "No! I gotta go." The door shut and Clark could finally let out the laugh he'd been holding in that whole conversation. "Space puppy." He mumbled to himself as he turned his TV back on.

The next day at the DEO, Mon-El and Winn were sitting by the monitors when Alex walked over, "Heyyyy!" Mon-El looked up at her, "Hi." She stared down at him smiling wider than he'd ever seen, "Yes?" She couldn't hold it in any more, "When are you gonna do it?!" Mon-El's jaw dropped and he spun around in his chair, "Winn!" Winn just shrugged his shoulders and threw his hands in the air, "Oh, come on! You know I can't keep secrets from Alex!" Mon-El slowly turned back around, "Yeah, I know." Alex was rocking back and forth on her heels, "Sooooooo." Mon-El rolled his eyes, "I was planning on doing it tomorrow night." Alex was nearly jumping up and down at this point, "What are you gonna do?" "I was thinking that I'll have dinner ready for her when she gets home, light some candles, then I'll "forget" the plates in the cabinet, and when she goes to get them, she'll turn around and I'll be down on one knee." He smiled, and Alex had tears in her eyes, "That's so adorable! I'm so excited!"

Mon-El walked over to Luna, who was sitting in the middle of the training room playing with toys. "Daddy!" She squealed as she got up and ran over to him with her hands up in the air. He whisked her up in the air and kissed her cheek, making Luna giggle. "Okay baby, change of plans, you're gonna sleep over at Auntie Alex's tonight, okay?" Mon-El said. Luna stared at him with her puppy dog comets, "Why?" Mon-El pushed her hair out of her eyes, "Daddy is gonna ask mommy to marry him tonight, so we can officially become a family." Luna's eyes lit up, "Yay!" She threw her arms around his neck. "Okay, I have to go home now. I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" "Otay Daddy!" And Mon-El went home to make dinner.
