"Wedding Preparations"

A few weeks later at the DEO, it was a slow day, so everyone was just hanging around waiting for something interesting to occur: Nothing was. Clark was leaning on the round table in front of the monitors, checking his phone, when Kara came up behind him, "Hey, can I talk to you for a second?" Clark jumped a bit, "Didn't mean to startle you." Kara laughed. Clark chuckled a bit to himself, "No, it's fine. Yeah, sure, what'd you need?" He asked. Kara motioned him to come closer, "Privately." She whispered. Clark was becoming concerned, "Of course."

They walked into the training room, Kara sat down on the bench, "You okay?" He asked. She looked up at him, "Yeah, I'm fine. I just wanted to ask you something." Clark was relieved that nothing drastic was going on, yet a tad disappointed since nothing had happened all day and he was kind of bored, "Shoot." He said as he sat down next to her. She was silent for a moment, she then slowly lifted her head to look at him. It almost looked like there were tears in her eyes. Now Clark was concerned again, "I was wondering if you would want to walk me down the aisle?" She asked. Clark was taken aback, "Really?" He asked. She nodded her head in affirmation, "Yes, of course, I would love to!" She smiled at him, "Why do you sound surprised?" "I'm not surprised exactly, just, I thought you'd ask J'onn." He replied. Kara shook her head, "Nope. He wanted to officiate though." Clark cracked a smile, "Ah." "So, you'll do it?" She asked again. "Yes, I would be honored to." He hugged her, "Good." She said, pulling away from the hug a bit to smile up at him.

Meanwhile, Mon-El and Winn were sitting by the monitors, still waiting for anything, "Hey, Winn?" "What's up dude?" Winn asked, turning his chair to face Mon-El, "Do you wanna be my best man?" "Yes, why did you even feel the need to ask?" Winn asked, "I just wanted to make it official." Mon-El replied. Winn cocked his head a smidge and contorting his lips, "Makes sense." He turned back around and Mon-El wheeled his chair next to Winn's, "Whatcha working on?" He asked. Winn, without looking up, said, "Oh, you know, the usual, monitoring the sensors, making sure we're not on the verge of an alien attack." Mon-El patted his shoulder, "Good job, man." "Thanks, buddy." Winn replied, tapping Mon-El's hand, still on his shoulder.

Later that night, Kara and Luna were sitting at the kitchen table eating ice cream. It was almost bed time, so they were having a snack. Luna had chocolate ice cream all over face and all over the table. Kara was wiping the drips on the table, "So, Luna, are you gonna be mommy and daddy's flower girl?" She asked, finishing up her own ice cream. Luna looked over at Kara across the table and happily shouted, "Yes!" Kara smiled at her chocolate covered baby, "Yes? Okay then, finish your ice cream and then it's time for bed my little flower girl." She said as she walked over to Luna and kissed the top of her head, "Nigh nigh?" Luna asked, looking up at Kara. "Yeah, night night." Luna finished up her ice cream and Kara wiped her off and put her adorable pink pajamas on. Kara laid her in her bed and kissed her goodnight. Then Mon-El came in and did the same. As they were about to close the door, Luna sat up and said, "Nigh nigh, Mommy. Nigh nigh, Daddy. I wuv you!" They both smiled at her, "And we love you." Said Mon-El as he blew her a kiss and shut the door.

A few days later
It's 8:30 am on a Saturday. Mon-El is currently finishing up breakfast in the kitchen whilst Kara is still asleep in bed. Kara had scheduled an engagement photo shoot, so Luna was at Auntie Alex's.

Kara bolts upright in bed seeing the clock, "Mon-El?" She yelled. "In the kitchen!" He yelled back. Kara came running into the kitchen, "Why didn't you wake me up? We've gotta get ready quickly or we'll be late!" She said to Mon-El, who saw no issue, "Why are you in such a rush? We have 25 minutes before we have to leave." He said. But Kara was still not having it, "Calm down, drink some coffee." She looked around him, "You made coffee?" She asked pushing her way around him, "And breakfast?! I should sleep in more often." Mon-El smiled at how cute she is when she sees food, "Maybe you should." She smiled at him, "Thank you." He kissed her on the cheek, "You're welcome." Kara walked around to the side of the kitchen island to sit on a stool, "Did Luna wake up yet?" She asked. "I have no idea, she's at Alex's since we didn't want to bring her to the photo shoot." He said sarcastically. Kara stared at him, "Don't give me that sass." For a second they were both serious, but then they started laughing when they couldn't hold the straight face anymore, "We really do need to get dressed though." She said. Mon-El grabbed cups, "Drink coffee first." He said. "Seriously, we have to leave in about 15 minutes, come on." She said to him, "Give me a second, please." Mon-El said, slowly lifting the coffee pot to his mouth and drinking it. Kara just glared at him, "Come on!" "Coming Babe!" They both finally got our the door and made it right on time. The pictures were adorable.
