"What?!" Mon-El cried. Alex waved her hands in the air, "Okay. It's gonna be fine." "How is it going to be fine?" Mon-El asked on the verge of tears, Alex was too, "I'll fix her. I always fix her!"

Kara patted her sister's hand, "Alex, I don't know if this is fixable." Alex stormed out, "I'll find a way to cure you. And if I can't, mom can. I'll call her."

Mon-El turned to Kara, "Kara, I love you." He said, sitting down next to her. She smiled at him, "I love you, too. But I'm not dying yet. And maybe Eliza can fix me. I mean, she fixed you when you were dying a couple of years back." "I hope she does." He smiled, thinking back on that day, "I could never forget those couple of days. That's when we first kissed."

"Yes it is, and then you pretended not to remember." She replied, side eyeing him. He tilted his head, "Because I didn't think you liked me back." "Well, our daughter says otherwise." She replied, giggling. He gazed back at Kara, "Yeah she does."

Just then, Clark walked in, "Hey." Kara looked up at him, "Hey." Mon-El got up, "I'll be right back." He said, putting a hand on her shoulder. He smiled at Clark as he passed him on his way out.

"How you feeling?" He asked, sitting next to Kara.
"Okay." She replied. He raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean exactly by 'okay?'" "I'm not dead." She said, bluntly. "Always a plus. What is it?" He replied, a grin on his face.

Kara's face fell suddenly, "Just. What's going to happen if I-." Clark put a hand up, shifting closer to Kara, putting an arm around her shoulder, "We're not going to let that happen." She laid her head on his shoulder, "But what if I do? What's going to happen to Luna?" She asked, her voice breaking. "What do you mean? She'd still have Mon-El and all of us. We'd figure it out, but we won't have to."

She raised her head and looked up at him, "Okay, but you might." Clark quickly stood up, his voice raising, "Kara, it's fine! You're going to be fine!" He had his back to her, shaking slightly. Kara leaned forward, "Clark?"

He took in a large, shakey breath, "Sorry. I just got a little bit- I don't know." He said, wiping a hand across his forehead. Kara got up and walked over to him, "You're just scared. And it's okay to be, I am too. No one in the stories ever survived." He turned to look down at her, "That was on Krypton. Maybe it's different here." He replied, putting an arm around her. She hugged him tightly, "I hope so."

Meanwhile, Luna was sitting with Winn at his desk, "Unca Winn?" Luna asked. "Yes, Luna?" He replied, not taking his gaze away from his computer screen.
"Is mommy gonna die?" She asked casually.

Winn jumped a bit, spinning his chair to face her, his eyes wide, "What? No! No, no, no, no. Why would you think that?" "Because Auntie Alex said it's deadly." She replied.

Winn squinted at her, "Have you been eavesdropping?" Luna's face immediately looked guilty, "Nooooo." He raised an eyebrow, "Lunaaa?"
She swung her legs from back and forth, "Maybe."

He put his elbows on his knees to look Luna in the eyes, "Hey, Auntie always finds a way to fix things. And your mommy is the strongest person I know, and she won't leave you. Ever. Got it?" He asked. "Got it." She replied.

"Alright." Winn said, lifting her from the chair she was sitting in, and onto his lap. "Can we play Minecraft on your computer? Please?" She begged, tilting her head up to him. Winn sighed, "Fine. For a little while. But only until Auntie Alex comes back."

Little did he know, Alex was standing directly behind him, "Winn?" "Gah!" He screamed. "Alex, hey! How- how's it going?" He asked, attempting to act casual.

She shot him a smile, "It's fine, I'll give you 15 minutes." Winn grinned widely, "Yesss." "You're lucky I'm cute." Luna said sassily. "Yeah I am." He said, tickling her.

Eliza walked through the door, "Alex?" Alex turned toward the door, "Mom!" She exclaimed, relieved.
"Is everything alright? Where's Kara?" Eliza asked.
"She's right in the next room." Alex replied, wiping tears from the sides of her eyes.

"How's she doing?" She asked. "She's not good, mom. It's bad. The poison is spreading and I don't know what to do! And-." Alex sputtered. "And that's why you called me." Eliza replied, cutting her off, "It's going to fine sweetie. We're going to figure this out." "Okay." Alex replied, tears beginning to trickle down her face again. Eliza wrapped Alex in her arms, "Oh sweetheart. It's okay."

1 hour later
Eliza entered the room where Kara was staying, "Kara sweetie? How are you feeling?" She asked. "I'm okay right now." Kara replied quietly. "That's good." Eliza said.

"Do you mind if I take those samples you took?" She asked Alex. "No, of course not." Alex replied. "Alright. I'll see what I can do." Eliza said, grabbing the vials of blood samples. "Thank you, mom." Alex said as Eliza walked out.

"Alex?" Kara asked. Alex turned around, "Yeah?"
"Do you wanna talk?" Kara asked. "About what?" Alex replied, attempting to play dumb.

"I'm not blind you know, I can tell that you're stressed." She said. Alex huffed, a tight smile on her face, "It's so much more than that. It's stress on top of nervous, on top of scared out of my mind, on top of angry."

"Angry at what?" Kara asked, her face contorting.
"Angry that this happened to you. You're such a good person. Bad things shouldn't happen to good people." Alex said, breaking down yet again.

"But they do. You know that just as well as I do." Kara said. Alex erupted, "But why?! Why does it happen?!" Kara kept calm, "No person can explain why. We just have to have faith that everything will turn out for the best."

"How are you always so optimistic, even on your death bed?" Alex asked, sitting down on the end of Kara's bed. "Because I'm Supergirl. I inspire hope, and to inspire hope I have to have it too." Kara said, smiling. "I love you so much, please don't leave me." Alex said, bleary eyed. "I love you too, Alex. I'll try my best." Kara replied, hugging her sister.

The next morning
"Did you find anything?" Kara asked, hope in her voice. "I did. But there's one part I can't figure out." Eliza replied.

"Which part?" Clark asked. "You two, as you know, slightly differ from human anatomy. And one of the ingredients, shall we say, needed wouldn't work in a Kryptonian's body." She replied.

Clark immediately headed for the door, "I'll go to the fortress and try to figure something out." "Wait, Clark!" Eliza yelled, "I wasn't finished. I know what I do need, but it isn't available on Earth." She said.

"Where is it available?" He asked. Winn piped in, "Not sure exactly. But, it's pinpointed right here." Mon-El stood up, "I'll go and find it." "You sure?" Alex asked.

"I'm saving her, even if it's the last thing I do." He said. Luna ran up to him, hugging his leg, "I love you daddy. Please don't go." Mon-El turned and crouched down next to her. "I have to. To save mommy. Don't worry baby, I'll be back soon." He said, stroking her hair and kissing the top of her head.

"Take my car." J'onn Said. slowly stood up, "Thanks J'onn." Kara stood up, "I'm coming too." Alex shot her hand out in front of Kara, "No way. No way in hell." Kara shoved Alex's hand down, "Alex please! I want to help."

"You won't convince her otherwise, you should know that by now." J'onn said. "I'll make sure she's okay. Won't let her out of my sight, I swear." Mon-El assured Alex. "Fine. Go." Alex replied. "Thank you, Alex." Kara said, smiling at Alex and hugging her goodbye.

J'onn's garage
Mon-El turned to Kara, "Alright, let's do this." Kara grinned, "Bangarang." "Bangarang." He restated.
They both got into the car and flew to Argo.
They stopped suddenly, "What is that?" Kara asked pointing to the hunk of floating land. "That would be our destination." Mon-El replied, flying toward Argo. "There's a shield around it." She said, pointing to the blue aura.

Suddenly, a beam shot out and the ship was stuck, "How do we get it in? We're stuck in a tractor beam."
Kara's eyes widened, "This car shapeshifts. Let's just turn into something else." Mon-El smirked, "Like a meteor?" "Perfect."

The car shape shifts into a meteor and Mon-El lands the ship. The two get out. They heard a rustling in the trees and robots begun to swarm them,

"Identify yourselves."
