Michaels POV
Today was the day Mallory had to go in for surgery. We we're all gonna go to the hospital and wait. All of us had to wake up around 6, Mallory's surgery was at 7:30. Calum went and got breakfast for us, except for Mallory because she can't eat before her surgery.
Let's just say, she was very crabby.
Mallory's POV
I was shaking on the way to the hospital. We had too take two separate cars because we have so many people. I was in the backseat with Ashton next to me. We hadn't asked the doctors yet if Ashton could go back with me, we would ask when we got there.
*At the Hospital*
I had to change Into a uncomfortable hospital gown. I was hooked up to an IV, and I was still shaking. My nurse walked in with a warm smile on her face. I gave my best fake smile back, trying to be nice.
"Don't be nervous Hun, the doctors know what they're doing" She said.
"Hey nurse Casey, can I ask you something?" I asked tilting my head.
"Anything sweetie"
"Because of my family's past experience with surgery, I'm really freaking out. So with that, can Ashton maybe come back with me and just like hangout there while I'm in surgery?" I questioned.
"Uh, I've never been asked that question before Hun, but I'm fine with it. Just let me run it over with my boss." She smiled.
"Thank you so much." I hugged her. Once I pulled away, she left and probably talked to her boss.
I leaned over to Ashton and gave him a kiss. His dimples cheeks turned a light pink. It was really cute.
Surgery---
Ashton's POV
Mallory, Nurse Casey and I were walking back to the operating rooms. I was holding Mals hand occasionally giving it a squeeze. I could tell she was calmed down.
We reached the room and Mallory and I saw all of the doctors. Her gripped tightened on my hand. I gave her a kiss on her temple and she closed her eyes.
"Hello, you must be Mallory." A doctor came over and shook her hand, making her let go of me. "And you must be?"
"Hi, My names Ashton." I smiled at him.
"oh yes! Nurse Casey told me the situation. I'm glad to have you here sir."
I jut nodded my head, not knowing what to say. I looked around at the other doctors, one looked really familiar.
"Alright Mallory, I'll have you lay down on this bed and I'm gonna put you under okay?" He said leading her over to a operating bed. She layed down and I took her hand back into mine.
Mallory's POV
I layed on the bed, feeling really uncomfortable in this gown. Ashton took my hand in his. The doctor threw a mask over my nose and mouth so that I would breathe it. It was making me really sleepy. The last things I heard before I fell into a deep sleep was those four words I needed to hear.
"I love you Mallory."
