Brooklyn or as she told me to call her Brook or Brookie, and I started walking down the halls, There were posters and flyers everywhere. Plays, Sports, Musicals, Clubs, Everything. Turns out that I have almost every class with Brook, Except music and P.E. So that was pretty cool! So right now we were walking to Algebra. Yeah..No. I hate this class.
"Ready to face the world?" Brook asked me as she spread her hands over the door. Over dramatic much?! But she is my only friend here.
"Brook, Its gonna be embarrassing, And quick being so over dramatic! Even though it is just Algebra, I am still scared." I said shaking.
"I'll be with you through the whole thing, You'll be fine. Here we go." Brook smoothly said, Her words kind of calmed me down. I'm not as shaky anymore so that's a good thing! When Brook opened the door, everyone's attention instantly turned on me. It was like in a movie.
"Hey Mrs. Goodman, Sorry were late, This is Mallory Williams, She's from Nebraska in the United States. She's the new student." Brook called out walking to her seat.
Mrs. Goodman had welcomed me personally and told me to go to the front of the room. Great, Public speaking. Not my best thing.. She told me to introduce myself and tell a little about me. So I did.
"Well my name is Mallory Williams, I was raised in Omaha Nebraska, I love to sing, dance, Listen to music, hangout with friends, and play my orchestra instruments. And I hate speaking in front of people, Spiders, Snakes and Bugs, those things annoy me. So yeah, that's me." I spoke in front of the class, and walked over to my seat next to Brook.
"Good job up there!" Brook told me sarcastically, while laughing. I tried to keep a straight face but couldn't do it anymore, I caved in. We were laughing at how mentally awkward I am.
I am so happy I made a best friend that I can actually trust. I turned my head to the left to see a boy sitting down right next to me. He looked my way and smiled. I smiled back and he started talking to me.
