(Y/o) is going to represent 'your origin' in this. So, that could be your country or (if you're Italian therefore country won't make sense) your town/city. I just needed to add an extra filler for this one. Also, guess what song this is inspired by lol. Also, I tried using italics to express the emotion in their voices? Idk?

The music is from Medici: The Magnificent. Anyone else a Medici fan bc I love it! <3

Qotd: Which game from the Ezio collection is your favourite?

I Hate That I Love You

Ezio Auditore da Firenze. (Y/n) (L/n) had to hold back a sigh just by thinking his name.

The (Y/o) Assassin had been sent to Roma by the Brotherhood as she was one of the Assassins who was fluent in the language.

Upon arriving in Roma, she began her work as soon as she had established she would be staying in the hideout until her work was done.

In the meantime, she had been carrying out work to acquire information and had been assisting Ezio on missions. But lately, he had seemed to grow more . . . distant. He would refuse to allow her to accompany him during work and had been avoiding her in the hideout.

Little did he know that each time he ignored the (h/c)-haired female or pushed her away, he might as well have been plunging his hidden blade into her.

(Y/n) had never had much of an interest for relationships back home. Her (town/city) had rather slim pickings and her line of work meant love was difficult. But then she met Ezio, not only was he stunning, a gentleman, intelligent and thoughtful, he was an Assassin like herself; that meant there would be a higher chance of a relationship being a strength and not a burden on their work. The (e/c) eyed female's parents had died in a fire when she was young - it was the Assassins who had taken her in off the streets after seeing her skills in stealth and speed when stealing food.

She had not realised how far she had fallen for all the dark haired male's charms until he began pushing her away.

But today he took it too far, he had failed to inform her of a meeting. Ignoring her was painful, but leaving her out of business matters put her in danger which was infuriating.

"Ezio Auditore da Firenze!" She bellowed, her (Y/o) accent tearing through the room as she pushed the doors open powerfully. He stood in the library, skimming across book spines. The second his chocolate brown eyes landed on her, they became cold and hard. "How bloody dare you!" She stormed up to him and looked up to meet his eyes.

"I beg your pardon?" He raised a brow. Her heart usually would have beat a little faster at having all his attention to herself like this but right now, she was blinded by the selfishness and thoughtlessness of his actions.

"You failed to inform me of today's meeting, did you not?" She questioned. He turned back to the bookshelf.

"What of it?" He replied. The (s/t)-skinned woman clenched her jaw.

"La Volpe told me it was to inform everyone of the increases of Borgia guards around the city - how they are a threat to the Brotherhood's cover and safety! I am an Assassin too which means my safety is also being threatened! I may not be from Roma's branch of the Brotherhood but I am working with you now and you must learn to accept it!" She exclaimed.
