He mouthed the words for the seventh time on his way to the place he had avoided for so long. It was strange to say the least.

When he got there, he saw Mark sitting by the window, scrolling on his phone, a peice of cheesecake and a cup with steaming liquid sat at the table in front of him. Ethan walked in, the small bell ringing. Mark looked up and smiled. Ethan smiled back.

Ethan walked to the girl at the counter, smiling, and ordered a chocolate milkshake and a chocolate doughnut. After placing the order, he walked to Mark, sitting down in the chair across from the taller boy.

"What're you listening to?" Mark asked Ethan.
"Hushh," He replied, smiling.
"What?" Mark asked, confused, "Why would I-"
"AViVA," Ethan cut him off, rolling his eyes.

"Oh..." Mark trailed off, his cheeks heating up.
"Yeah. I love their music. Especially Hushh," Ethan said, shrugging.

"Ethan?" The waitress calls out, holding a cup and a plate. Ethan raises his hand and the waitress walks over, setting the plate and cup down.
"Hi, Bex," Ethan says, "It's been awhile, hasn't it?"
"Yeah. I was thinking you wouldn't come back," The waitress--Bex--answers.

"No way, I'd always come back here," Ethan giggles.
"Good, 'cause if i have to deal with one more Amy, I'll explode," Bex rolls her eyes. (No hate to Amy!) Ethan giggles again, making Mark smile. Then, as if for the first time, Bex notices the raven sitting across from Ethan.
"Oh? And who's this?" She asks, looking Mark up and down.
"Bex, this is Mark. Mark, Bex. Me and her have been friends since I started to come here regularly," Ethan smiled.
"Nice catch, Eth. He's cute," Bex comments. Ethan blushes.
"N-No, it's not-- I didn't-- I would never-- I just" Ethan stumbles, making him blush even more. Mark chuckles.
"Thank you, Bex, but I have my eyes set on someone else," Mark says, motioning to Ethan, who is now curled into the seat, sitting on his legs, his head in his hands. Bex nods.

"If you hurt him in any way, I will end you. Got it?" She says, looking back at Ethan. "He's fragile." Mark nods.
"I'll take care of him," He says.

"You better," Bex says, but she smiles at him anyways.
