Am I dreaming? Was this real? Maybe I'm hallucinating from all the drugs?

My thoughts proceeded , trying to figure out all the possibilities as to why the hospital had no recollection or files of who had visited me in the hospital.

I seriously feel like I'm going insane. Wait...I should call home! Maybe that's what I should do.

But dern...where are my clothes and my belongings? I had a necklace on,a bracelet, and oh yeah...I remember, I had left my cell-phone in the girl's bathroom and the school is closed,so I'm sure I won't be able to get it for days.ugh.Just perfect.

I was still thinking as my back was leaning up against the counter.

I watched everyone closely, all my surroundings I took in like air.

Everything was moving fast and slow at the same time.As oddly as that sounds,I couldn't make sense of it myself,so who would if I can't?

I had been standing at the counter for over three hours,I had no where else to go.

The lady that used to be at the desk had already left to go home and another lady had taken her shift.

"Is there a phone I can use?" I asked the lady at the desk.

"There should be a phone in your room." She suggested.

"Oh.Right.Thankyou."

I pace-walked back to my room, the phone was on my bedside table.

I quickly walked to it and picked it up while dialing the first three numbers.

I thought there was suppose to have a 'beeping' sound with each number...

I hit a couple of other numbers, but nothing happened.

I followed the cord all the way to the wall, the cord was cut!

"What in the world?!" I said in disbelief.

I ran to my door and looked at the my surroundings again.

A door had closed that led to the stairs. It made a 'click' noise as it connected back to it's place with the wall.

I ran and followed whoever had just exited to the stairs.I heard footsteps running eagerly down the stairs fast.

"Wait!" I called, not even knowing if the person was possibly connected to cutting my phone cord.

I ran to the railing and looked over almost losing my balance.

I saw a glimpse of a hoodie.A black one.

I took a gasp. Whoever it was followed me!

I Ran all the way down the winding steps , to the first floor.

I go to the main entrance and everything was calm.Nothing looked out of place. There were a few people waiting to be attended to for their needs. But that's all..

-

I walked over to the desk and smacked the counter twice to get everyone's undivided attention .

"Listen up!" I shouted, "Has anyone seen a person with a black hoodie coming through these halls?"

They all had wide eyes and shook their heads no.

"Are you sure?Nobody suspicious came through here?" I asked again.

They all still shook their heads no.

I took a deep breath in and sighed because the people had let me down.
