Chan and Chaewon had already done the DNA test and the results will be released within a few weeks, so it will take them a bit to wait till then.
Chaewon had already headed home, so did Seungmin and Jeongin after they had eaten the food that Chan brought. Chan was alone again with Felix.
He talked to Felix for hours and hours until he felt sleepy, his eyes getting heavier, as the clocked ticked and tocked, he drifted off to slumber.
Chan sort of felt like his hair was being combed back by someone, and he bet that it was one of the dreams he had of Felix gaining consciousness.
Chan slowly fluttered his eyes open, slowly adjusting to the dimly lit room until his eyes got used to it and landed on the figure of Felix, and this time, he was wide awake and a smile was plastered on his face.
"F-Felix?" Chan reached out to touch the younger's cheek and he felt Felix's warm hand touch his and let it rest on his cheek.
"It's me Channie," he smiled, a warm happy tear slid down his freckled cheek, "I'm back..."
Chan didn't know how happy he was to see that smile in such a long time, it felt like a huge splinter - no - a spear, even, was pulled out of his chest, making him so relieved.
Felix released his hold on the older's hand and spread out his arms, anticipating for a hug, and it was indeed a big, tight and warm hug he recieved, the best hug yet.
Their tears kept on pouring and again out of their eyes, sniffles and hiccups spread through that private hospital room in the quiet and sleeping hours for the patients in the hospital.
Chan placed multiple kisses atop of the younger's blonde hair and Felix smiled to the gesture.
The two males wiped away their tears later on as they parted from the hug yet their hands still locked into one another.
Chan then went to find a nurse or a doctor to check on Felix before scurrying to the nearest McDonald's that was open for 24 hours, immediately buying three orders of food that is decided for one for him and two for the younger who is probably hungry at these moments.
