"When in danger or in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout."

It took them only a few minutes for them to find a full grown coconut tree with fruits in it. It was more or less 15 feet tall tree. It wasn't that far from their shelter but quite at the top part of it. Darkness started to completely cover the world making them hard to do their tasks.

"Thank God, we can have something to eat now." She said while hungrily eyeing the coco from the base of the tree.

Watching the tree from below, she knows it will be quite a task to climb to the top.

"Okay, I'll do the gathering of the woods here. You can start your task now."

She frowned looking at him beside her, confused of what he was talking about.

When he found her looking at him that way. He frowned and arched his brow.

"What??"

"What do you mean my task? Are you somehow referring to........" She slowly muttered then widened her eyes at him when she finally get what he mean.

"Climb the tree? Yes, you're right. You said you can climb a tree that's why I'm bringing you here with me." He said in a "matter-of-factly" tone.

That made her eyes widened in shock than before and with horror on her face.

She can't believe she's hearing this from this man!

'The gall of this man!' She scoffed when she had finally recovered from the shock.

"Can't I just do the gathering of woods instead of climbing? You know, I think you're more than capable of doing the task." She negotiate while looking at him with hopeful gleam in her eyes.

The man just looked at her with disbelief on his face.

"You said you can climb and-------"

"Oh, I can climb, yes. But I don't think I can still do it given that the last time I climbed some tree was....umm.. I think when I was still in grade school?....." she explained while grimacing, afraid that he will lash at her seeing the expression in his face, like he's ready to strangle her anytime.

She tried to paste a smile on her face then gave him a sign of peace in her fingers.

"But still, you can't say you can't climb if you won't give it a try. Go now." He muttered under his breath.

She can see he was so annoyed now. She hesitated if she will do his order but then, after giving it some thought, she decided to make a try.

Sighing loudly, she looked at him that could bury him ten feet below the ground.

"Fine! I'll do it, but in a condition that you'll watch from here if ever something terrible happen to me while climbing and!" then she pointed her finger to him "I hope that won't happen because I'll haunt you if I'll die here! Got it??" She muttered while glaring at the man, challenging him to refuse.

When he nodded while crossing his arms on his chest, she then grudgingly started the climbing.

"Stupid bastard!" she grumbled under her breath while on her way to the top.

"I heard that!" She heard him said from below. She scoffed.

"I heard that!" she mimicked in a girly voice.

She heard him groaning loudly. She didn't mind him and just continued.

By the time she was halfway through the top, her legs started to shake in exhaustion and her sweats was flowing like a waterfalls now.
