ROBERT's POV

I suddenly froze when I saw my loyal secretary gaping at me with horror look on his wrinkled face.

"Sir Robert!" He blurted when he was able to grasp the situation, turning to me then to the mad woman beside me still clutching my poor ear and necktie.

She really have the tendency to do this when she have to. Good God.. How I love thi---

I suddenly stopped and my body went stiffed as my thoughts came to that,

I love her? I love this woman?

I repeated that in my mind, trying to feel if it would make me cringed but....I slowly turned to her as my heart started to pound like there's some horse stomping inside, making me short in breath.

No, it was very far from that, damn it!

I just keep on staring at her while she was just utterly oblivious with what I am experiencing right now.

I held my breath as I tried to stop my fucking heart pounding like someone's hammering on my chest.

Damn with this woman! She could really be the death of me. Though she had always pushed me away from her, kept rejecting me, I can't just get her out of my system.

Well, I was hurt with that but damn, to hell with that, I know she had some feeling for me. I can feel it. But stubborn and a coward that she was, she rather want me to stay away from her.

I mentally shook my head at that.

She better be ready with me pestering her about it.

She just stared at Martin with her body stiffed against me..

I smirked when she slowly let me go and then faced the old man with puppy dog eyes.

How I missed this woman these past few days! So much that all I can do was visit her each night on her desk while dead asleep, and then-- well, you know, kissed those tempting lips.

At the sudden thought of her lips, my gazed lingered to her plump one that was stretched into a guilty smile.

"Mr. Martin, I don't think I had call for a rescue here..."

My brows furrowed with that while gazing at her then to my secretary with confusions.

"A rescue?"

Martin was about to open his mouth but stopped when the mad woman clucked his tongue, causing me to turn to her.

"Oh, nothing.. Just forget about that.." she said while waving off her hands, wanted to dismiss that topic.

I wonder what was that rescue for.

I just shook my head, not wanted to think about that. Then I faced my secretary with his face still out of his usual composed one.

"Something wrong, Martin?" I asked with cocked brow.

"Ah.. There's nothing wrong sir but.."he trailed off then gazed at her beside me, then back at me. "If you won't mind my asking sir, what are you two doing with..." he said while pointing to the two of us.

I mentally nodded my head, finally understood why he was making that face.

"Ah.. that?"

He nodded his head with confirmation.

"That's----"

"We were just playing some tug-of-war, Mr. Martin.. I didn't know it was fun when done in that way.."

At the mention of that, a snort suddenly came out from me that made her glared at my way, warning glare of an impending doom. And I don't have a plan to even know what's that.
