Anya's POV
The horror look on his face was priceless. Obviously flabbergasted with my question. I worried his eyes would separate from his own socket the way it had dangerously bulged out.
Then when he had finally recovered from his shock, his face turned sour with lips thinning in the thinnest line. Alarming me with the incoming wave of the strong storm to my way.
Shit! So Jul was just bluffing??!!
I'm really goin' to hang him with his head to the ground! I was about to turned to the frozen Jul beside me when I heard him growled.
"I PREFERRED WHAT?????!"
I flinched with his thunderous voice. Now towering over us with eyes throwing laser beams to my way then to my so-called friend. His veins pumping on his temples, obviously because he was enraged.
My mouth slightly open while gaping up at him. Trying to find the right words to say that could somehow calm him.
"I-It's Jul's fault" pointing to the wide eyed Jul beside me who dared to shake his head vigorously for denial.
The devil!
"I just---"
"You think I am gay??!"
Oh oh..I think it was impossible for us to calm him now.
Taking a shaky breath, I just gave him a guilty smile, though I was a bundle of nerves now. Guilty for believing Jul's crazy lies! His eyes now ablaze with fire, fire that could grill your very soul.
Shit! I should have never believe Jul saying that! I was suddenly able to breathe out when his eyes snapped to Jul's with grim in line in his mouth. Causing him to stiffen beside me.
Serves you right! Now you will suffer with his wrath you---
"Why don't you leave for now Julio?" he started without blinking an eye.
Jul frowned while I suddenly felt alarmed. Alarmed and quite tense with the thought of us alone.
"W-Why?" asked Jul.
He suddenly smiled wickedly then again back to his former look.
"Maybe spend some time under the rain and drenched your empty head to death???"
Jul gasped hearing him say that with sarcastic voice.
I absently nodded my head with agreement, though quite against with Jul leaving us. But the thought of shivering in cold being drenched with the rain made me agreed with that as a punishment. After all, rescue was just a few hours away.
Yeah right. I think that's a good idea for a punishment.
"No way! It was just a joke! I swear!"
"And I am not in a mood to joke around, Julio." He said with firm voice, sounding dismissive. Jul just gaping at him like a catfish with eyes looking tormented. Probably tormented with Robert's order.
But after their long battle of gazes, Jul let out a sigh then rose up, giving in with him.
"Alright I'll go. But with Anya---"
"NO."
"NO."
I quickly turned to Robert when we said that at the same time.
I smirked then turned to the wide-eyed Jul. Looking at me then to Robert with indignant look.
Good thing he was fair with his punishment.
