Hearing Jul screamed, she hastily throw the firewoods to the ground and run to where his screams came from.

Fear and worry instantly crept to her insides. Fear that he'd been caught by the armed men and worried that something terrible might have happened to him.

She was running now like she had run for her life while bullets chasing on her back. It's for her dearest friend after all. Her only family that she really have.

She came into the clearing where they had agreed to meet after. She ran to the direction where Jul went, not bothering the bushes she'd stumbled on her way.

She quickly looked around her, searching for any indication of Jul. When she didn't see him around, she continued searching with her half running and half walking steps. Her breathing now ragged, gasping for air to fill in her lungs.

She ran again towards the direction where there are trees where she think Jul would probably go and not long, she saw Robert now clad in his shirt kneeling beside the paled white Jul leaning against the tree in his half unconscious state. She rushed to his side, tears now started to form in her eyes while still gasping for air and sweats falling above her eyes.

"W-What happened?" She stuttered, asking Robert beside her. He looked up at her with worry in his eyes.

"He'd been bitten by some grass snake." He informed her with calm, though sweats started to fall above his eyes, then he showed Jul's bitten leg to her.

She gasped when she saw the two red spots with fresh blood around it and his leg now starting to swell.

Her tears now flowing freely on her face, making her eyesight blurred with tears.

"H-How did you know it was some grass snake?" She inquired while still looking at Jul's form while crying.

"I've arrived here with Jul still trying to hit the snake with stick but before he can hit it, it bit him on his leg and it unfortunately got away before I can get close." She listened carefully to his explanation. She heard him groaned before he continued.

"I've seen it moved fast and it has something green, grey or brown with black flecks on its body and a yellow collar behind its head. So I assumed it was just a grass snake, given that we are in an island surrounded with water." He continued to explain but she just ignored him.

Her focus was on the half unconscious state of Jul. Thinking the worst that might happen to him if she didn't do something.

She shook her head, wanting her mind to not think about any worst possibilities.

Oh, hell! She don't care whatever snake it was. It was still a snake and what she wanted to know was if Jul would be fine.

Will he die from this?

No! She won't allow Jul to just die like that. They had even survived from the plane crashed together, so they'll gonna survived here together no matter what. She had to do something!

She heard Jul's ragged breathing. Now sweats flowing like waterfalls on his forehead and neck. His face paler than ever. She panicked.

"J-Jul? Jul??? Do not closed your eyes!" She plead while shaking him slightly. When he just groaned and murmured something, probably he's in pain, she turned to Robert.

"We have to do something Robert! We have to treat him...p-please Robert.." She hysterically plead at him, now starting to sob while shaking her head. Can't accept that something terrible would happen to him.
