ANYA's POV

A triumphant smile crept over my face just thinking about his face at the cafeteria. Feeling so satisfied that I was able to annoy him.

Inhaling deeply, I leaned my back against my chair but grimaced when my back ached like hell.

Oh God.. I think I really need a thorough massage one of these days. Grimacing, I gently rubbed my shoulder to lessen the pain.

If my work would always be like this, I don't think I will last here till my retirement age. I just hope----

I stopped when something caught my eye. My eyes narrowed to the door when I saw a woman entering the office with her face hidden behind the mountainous pile of documents she was carrying, walking with difficulty. Almost all eyes inside was on her, eyeing the pile with a grimace on their faces, mirroring my own.

Oh gosh, don't tell me it was another round for me? I just held my breath as I stared at her, hoping against all hopes that it wasn't for me, following her with hawk eyes. And I think all of the other people inside doing the same.

Then she started heading to....a loud groan came out from me when she was heading to my bloody cubicle!!

I exasperatedly buried my face in my hands, groaning like a hungry cow. I think this was enough to confirm that my suspicion was right. And he was bloody doing this because I've taunted him earlier...

"Ms. Monriz?"

When I heard her, I let out an exasperated sigh then looked up to the woman beside me still clutching the documents. I can see her face now as she peek through the side of the pile with sweats forming on her forehead. I wonder where on earth she had travel that from.

"Please tell me you're just passing here and you just want to tell me that it wasn't for me?"

The woman smiled at me, looking amused with me. Bloody woman!

"I'm sorry to tell you Ms. Monriz, but I was ordered to give this to you.." She said then put the bloody documents in my desk.

I groaned and just massage my temple, feeling like I'm suddenly having a migraine. But after a few seconds, I turned to that papers then took one document to check if what it was all about.

M&A's CONTRACTORS, SUBCONTRACT-----WHAT THE HELL??!! Why am I assigned to do this when this wasn't part of my job?! I took the yellow sticky note that was attached on it.

'Submit this tomorrow. Make a compilation, include date the contract started and will end, owner, services, and blah, blah..bloody task!

"I'll go now, Ms. Monriz."

"Wait!" I said, stopping her. She gazed at me with questioning eyes as I stared at her with gritted teeth.

I inhaled deeply to calm myself, though it was impossible for me to be calmed. I was ready to explode now and splattered my stressed brain everywhere in this building!

"Who ordered you to bring this here?"

"From the higher-ups---" She stopped when I held up my finger with pursed lips.

"Be specific please."

She tried to smile but came out a grimaced while fidgeting in her hands. I know she's hiding something and I would be damned if I will just let her get out of here without her spilling the golden beans.

"Spill it out now.. I just want to know who that someone who suddenly became my avid fan here." I uttered through gritted teeth with straight face but grilling her with my blazing eyes.
